Charlie Puth is sick of fans invading artists' privacy on stage!

The "We Don't Talk Anymore" hitmaker has added his two cents to the ongoing conversation about concertgoers throwing objects at musicians during their set on stage following an incident at Kelsea Ballerini's just concluded "Heartfirst Tour." A tour attendee had stoked the performer, prompting the country pop singer and her official fanbase to issue a statement condemning the act.

Charlie Puth Calls Out Object Throwers At Concerts

Puth has taken to social media to slam people who pelt their fave celebrities with things, which are sometimes considered gifts, asking them to stop. In less than 300 characters, the 2022 People's Choice Award recipient for Favorite Collaboration Song tweeted:

"This trend of throwing things at performers while they are on stage must come to an end. (Bebe, Ava, AND NOW Kelsea Ballerini…) It's so disrespectful and very dangerous. Please just enjoy the music I beg of you…"

Amid getting nearly 400k views from Twitter users, the write-up caused guitarist and songwriter, Chris Holly, to list out the items he had been hit with during his "metal years touring."

The very many things included "shoes, t shirts, lighters, fruit slice from mixed drinks, condoms, mini bottle, purses, toy action figures, prosthetic leg given back, flask, frisbees, CD demos, fellow human beings, random food items like chicken wings," and "many different hats."

An observer claimed, "I dont know whats happenkng to those people... Maybe they should given intense lesson so people will not copy them.…" A third person chorused "Well said, Charlie…it boggles the mind why "fans" do this. Harry Styles was hit in the eye with a Skittle too. Thank you for speaking out!"

"To any artists it's incredibly rude but any one throw stuff at @KelseaBallerini betta watch out," a fourth fan warned.

Earlier this week, Ballerini was hit by an object — believed to be a bracelet — from the crowd while performing her 2022 single, "If You Go Down (I'm Goin' Down Too)," at Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden in Boise, Idaho, as part of her tour.

In a clip recorded and shared online by a fan, the 29-year-old singer is seen turning away from the crowd and having a brief chat with her fiddle player before exiting the stage. After taking a short break, we assume to get checked out, and she returned to the stage to address attendees.

"Can we just talk about what happened? All I care about is keeping everyone safe. If you ever don't feel safe, please let someone around you know. If anyone's pushing too much or you just have that gut feeling, just always flag it. Don't throw things. You know?," she told concertgoers.

Another Singer-Songwriter Was Attacked By A Stranger On Stage: 'He Slapped Me So Hard'

Aside from Ballerini, Ava Max — real name Amanda Ava Koci — has also been hit in the face by a concertgoer. Everything had seemed normal for the "Sweet but Psycho" singer while she was performing in Los Angeles last month until she got slapped by an audience member.

The distressing moment, captured on tape by another fan, showed the moment the 29-year-old was unexpectedly struck on the face by an unidentified man. The attacker was immediately subdued and removed from the premises by the vigilant security watching the scene.

As undeterred Max took a quick pause to acknowledge the incident and returned to her dance routine. The upload was captioned, "Someone jumped on stage at the end of tonight's show in Los Angeles. This is a reminder that this behavior is unacceptable. Sending all our love to Ava and her crew."

Max herself addressed the situation on Twitter, writing, "He slapped me so hard that he scratched the inside of my eye. He's never coming to a show again ??thank you to the fans for being spectacular tonight in LA though!!❤️."
