Disney alum Selena Gomez has once again been spotted with The Chainsmokers' Drew Taggart on the streets of New York. The actress was previously involved with "Sorry" singer Justin Bieber, and they went on to date for eight years. They officially ended their on-and-off relationship in 2018, with Justin getting married to Hailey Bieber in September of that year.

Gomez was linked to celebrities like The Weeknd, Zedd, and Charlie Puth after then. The actress has recently been spotted with The Chainsmokers star, Taggart. Although neither of them has gone public about their relationship, the duo has been seen together a number of times.

Selena Gomez And Drew Taggart Were Spotted Holding Hands

On January 21, Gomez and Taggart were seen holding hands while walking outside the New York Torrisi Bar & Restaurant. The "Only Murders in the Building" star wore an all-black outfit in the pictures consisting of a turtleneck as well as a blazer, pants, and a pair of platform shoes.

On his end, The Chainsmokers member had on a pair of jeans with butterflies as well as a jacket over a hoodie, and a pair of sneakers. While neither has confirmed or denied their relationship, they definitely looked like a couple in the pictures taken.

Prior to the recent sighting, Gomez and Taggart were seen together on January 15 at The Gutter bowling alley in Manhattan. This went on to fuel rumors of their romance. Eyewitnesses via Page Six revealed that they were "making out like teenagers" during the date.

A few days ago, Gomez took to Instagram to inform the public of her current relationship status. Despite being spotted with Taggart several times, the artist revealed via an Instagram story that she was single. The post was shared on Thursday and featured a black-and-white picture of the sky behind a mountain range.

The "Same Old Love" crooner captioned the post, "I like being alone too much." She added the hashtag "#iamsingle" to the caption. Fans noticed that at the very bottom of the picture's frame, a man's head could be seen. While none could identify who it was, most concluded that it belonged to the Chainsmokers star.

Gomez only left the post on her story for some minutes before taking it down. Her post was made a few days after the two singers were said to be romantically involved with each other.

Selena Gomez And Drew Taggart Are 'Very Casual'

According to a source close to the duo, Gomez and Taggart were seeing each other however the relationship was "very casual and low-key." The insider also claimed they were very affectionate towards each other and would go out on movie and bowling dates when they could.

"They aren't trying to hide their romance by sneaking around at members-only clubs," they said via US Weekly. They added that "Selena can hardly keep her hands off him" and that the couple was "having a lot of fun together."

Gomez and Taggart's relationship comes on the heels of the Chainsmoker star's romance with Steve Jobs' youngest daughter, Eve Jobs. The relationship ended four months ago and reportedly started as a "casual summer fling." The duo grew close to each other as the summer went by, and their breakup was "totally amicable." They are reportedly still friends and are "very mature and cool about going [their] separate ways."

While talking in her Apple TV+ docuseries, "Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me," Gomez reflected on her previous relationship with Bieber and how, despite the heartbreak, she needed it to happen.

"I feel like I had to go through the worst possible heartbreak ever and then just forgetting everything at the drop of a hand; it was really confusing," the artist said. "But I just think that needed to happen, and ultimately, it was the best thing that ever happened to me."

While on Jay Shetty's On Purpose podcast in November last year, Gomez revealed that she would rather keep falling in love and getting heartbroken than not feeling at all.

"Of course, there are days that I feel so far away," the actress said. "But I would rather continue to get my heartbroken than to not feel at all. I feel like giving myself completely to something is the best way I can love."
