Amy Robach & Andrew Shue Sell Home For $4 Million
Amy Robach and her ex-husband, actor Andrew Shue have sold another joint property for a cool $4 million. It's the second sale since they ended their marriage last year, but the former couple only finalized their divorce in March this year.
Robach and Shue were together for a total of 12 years before her affair scandal with former "Good Morning America" co-host T.J. Holmes became public news. Holmes has also filed for divorce from his wife, Marilee Fiebig, who was reportedly shocked about their affair, considering Robach was a family friend.
A few weeks before the affair became public, Robach and Shue sold a 3-bedroom property for $5.2 million. According to RadarOnline, the home they just sold is their second property in the Garrison area of New York. They bought the property in 2013 for $760k.
Andrew Shue Is Moving On From Their Relationship
With all the property sales, it seems Robach and Shue are completely moving on from their marriage. The actor's sister, Elisabeth Shue, told Page Six that her brother is "awesome" after the very public affair scandal. She added that Shue is "doing really good."
The "Melrose Place" alum had to deal with the public nature of the affair scandal, and after that came the round-the-clock PDA shots of Robach and Holmes being intimate and cozy.
At the time, a source told Us Weekly, "After Amy was caught cheating, almost everyone associated with the show reached out to Andrew. He's a good guy, a class act. He doesn't dump his friends. He holds on to people — which makes what Amy did to him worse! He's taking it hard because the whole thing has been so messy."
Amy Robach & T.J. Holmes Planning Their Future Together
Despite the criticism of their relationship, Robach and Holmes seem to be very happy together. Sources told the Daily Mail that Holmes plans to take their relationship further by proposing and finding their own home together.
The source said, "T.J. can't wait to start his new life with Amy. He has bought the ring and is ready to get down on one knee. You don't blow up your career unless you are certain you have found The One — and both Amy and T.J. are certain."
The couple is mostly together in New York and plans to find their own place. A friend told the Daily Mail, "They're together all the time anyway, mostly at her place." Holmes and Robach have been photographed together all around the city on runs, grocery shopping trips, and multiple romantic dates.
Amy Robach Signs A Hot New Deal
Since their exit from ABC, Holmes, and Robach have been pitching shows centered on them to multiple studios. Now, sources say Robach has finally signed a million-dollar deal for a weekly show with NewsNation, without Holmes.
Insiders revealed to the Daily Mail that the original plan was to do a joint show with the couple, but the studio decided to go ahead with just her. The executives already have show title ideas, with their current option being "Robach & Co," to possibly debut in January 2024.
However, not everyone at NewsNation is happy with the new addition to their roster. An insider told the news outlet that they feel President Michael Corn is turning the young station into a "dumping ground" for controversial hosts that have been fired by other stations.
They said, "First Chris Stirewalt then Chris Cuomo and now Amy! It doesn't do our reputation any good. It makes it look like we are a dump for people who can't get a bigger and better job elsewhere."
