T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are reportedly not happy with "Good Morning America's" success in their absence.

The duo, who were let go from the show several months ago, are bitter that their fellow co-host Lara Spencer has helped boost the show's ratings. Those ratings first tanked after their illicit affair became public knowledge in December last year.

According to reports, Holmes and Robach have now taken it upon themselves to badmouth Spencer to their industry contacts.

According to Radar Online, Robach and Holmes have been sulking over Spencer's excellent performance as one of the co-hosts of ABC's "Good Morning America."

The duo previously co-hosted the show with her for years before being fired from the network in the wake of their illicit affair, which tanked viewer ratings.

ABC then replaced Robach and Holmes with temporary hosts for a while before selecting DeMarco Morgan and Eva Pilgrim permanently. Without Robach and Holmes, the show, whose ratings were on the decline, has now climbed exponentially, all thanks to Spencer.

However, this has served as bad news to Robach and Holmes, who never expected the show would thrive without them.

"Amy and T.J. loved hearing GMA's ratings drop in the wake of their departure, but to their dismay, Lara saved the day," a source told the publication. "She's more popular than they were, and the show has skyrocketed to No. 1 in the ratings."

In their resentment towards Spencer, it is alleged that Robach and Holmes believe that the Emmy-winning anchor has been riding on their success all along.

This seems to contradict public opinion that suggests that Lara's amiable personality and brains quickly won over the viewers and smoothed over any annoyance they might have had about Robach and Holmes's illicit affair.

Since Robach and Holmes are no longer at ABC, they have seemingly tried to get back at Spencer in other ways.

According to a source, one of these includes "badmouthing" Spencer "to industry contacts every chance they get."

However, it appears that Spencer is not bothered by their actions and is currently relishing the increase in pay she has received, presumably due to her excellent performance.

The beef between Robach and Spencer seems to have been ongoing for a long time, even prior to recent reports, per Style Caster.

When news of Robach and Holmes's relationship broke out, which led to their suspension, it was rumored that Spencer had a hand in convincing the showrunners to do away with the duo.

"It's not a delayed reaction — something happened and Amy is blaming Lara," a source said, who also claimed that ABC had no issues with the rating of Holmes and Robach's "GMA3: What You Need to Know" episodes at the time.

The source also explained that Spencer possibly forcing the hands of the showrunners might have been payback for Robach replacing veteran Robin Roberts in 2012, a position she wanted for herself.

"[Spencer] was livid that Amy was seen by bosses as Robin's heir-apparent," the insider said. "It was clear that Amy would be the one to step in. Lara wanted the gig and hasn't ever forgotten it."

Neither Robach nor Spencer have publicly confirmed if they are feuding. In the meantime, it appears the former is about to get back on the air.

Per Radar Online, she is close to signing a million-dollar deal with NewsNation that will allow her to host her own primetime show. The publication also reported that Robach and NewsNation executives have chosen a tentative show title, "Robach & Co."

The show would reportedly be a "weekly talk or sit-down with different newsmakers and human interest stories around the world," debuting in January next year.

While this may be good news for Robach, insiders have suggested that her prospective colleagues aren't enthusiastically welcoming her addition.

There are concerns among them that her arrival could potentially transform the network into a "dumping ground" for individuals with tarnished reputations.
