Gerard Piqué Makes Hilarious Request To Club DJ Regarding Shakira!

Gerard Piqué just can’t seem to escape his ex-partner, Shakira.

I think that’s called… KARMA?!

The retired FC Barcelona fútbol player is currently dating his KOSMOS employee, Clara Chia Marti.

The two have been dating since his abrupt breakup from Shakira in June 2022. It’s never been confirmed, but Shakira reportedly found out Piqué was cheating on her, and it’s rumored that it was Marti who was the “other woman.”

Regardless, both parties have moved on romantically. Shakira’s been rumored to have dated Lewis Hamilton and more recently, NBA star Jimmy Butler.

Try as he might, it seems like Piqué can’t get away from Shakira’s essence.

The former FC Barcelona defender and Marti recently jetted off to Andorra for an Andorra FC game, according to El Nacional of Catalonia.

After the game, the couple went to Uniq Nightclub. Per the outlet, everyone in attendance was having a great time and the atmosphere was positive.

Not wanting to ruin his night or his girlfriend’s night, Piqué made a very hilarious request of the club DJ.

He asked the DJ to NOT play any Shakira hits for the remainder of the evening.

Shockingly, the club owner and DJ obliged and played music that was NOT Shakira’s.

The couple hasn’t had the best luck escaping diehard Shak fans.

“The Hips Don’t Lie” singer has a very dedicated legion of fans, and following their breakup last year, they made it known neither Piqué nor his girlfriend were welcome!

The Blast previously reported on an evening outing the couple took that ended with them getting denied entry to a restaurant.

In February, MarcaMagazine reported that the owner of a Barcelona eatery asked them to leave his establishment after refusing service.

The owner is a massive Shakira fan and refused to serve the couple.

A video went viral on social media following the public humiliation. Piqué and Marti looked downtrodden, sad and pissed off while leaving.

Shakira’s Twitter fanbase was living for this public display of humiliation and commented accordingly.

“Good, that cheater deserved it lol,” one fan wrote.

“Drop the restaurant name. It deserves high ratings and stars,” another touted.

“People at the restaurant may have ate, but the restaurant owner truly ATE,” this fan commented.

One fan was so happy about the owner’s decision they tweeted, “Good!!!!!!! That’s exactly how he should be treated everywhere he goes in public!!!!”

She’s taken dig after dig at him and Marti in her lyrics, especially her “BZRP Music Sessions #53” collaboration with Bizarrap.

In addition to ‘BZRP,’ Shakira released “TQG” in collaboration with Karol G.

This was the first collaboration between the Colombian-natives.

They sing about not repeating the mistakes they made in their love lives, adding that they have grown stronger by getting over their time with a person who wasn’t right for them.

Karol G sings, “I don’t have time for something that doesn’t do anything for me. I changed my route. Making money like sport. Filling my account, the shows, the car park, the passport.”

Shakira adds, “You left, and I got triple ‘m’: much hotter, much tougher, much lighter.”
