The Blast has covered a bunch of Jepsen's latest music moves, including the "Cut To The Feeling" singer's recent Instagram post which features a crossword puzzle! The puzzle features hints corresponding to the album's song titles.

Like solving a puzzle, the writing and recording of "The Loveliest Time" have allowed the songstress to understand herself on a new level. She explored the concept of getting to know oneself with "The Loneliest Time" as she began to work on the album during the COVID-19 lockdown. Jepsen took the time to reflect on loneliness and how she approaches being with herself.

She described work on the latter album as "a lifelong inquiry that I've had about my relationship to loneliness" in an October 2022 interview with The Cut.

Jepsen would go on to say she believes being content with yourself can happen after one forms "connections," rather than being happy alone. "You become pleased when you know you have connections out there," she said. (per The Blast)

The "Run Away With Me" singer recently sat down with Rolling Stone where she discussed the new record's further exploration of getting cozy with all of the aspects of yourself- even if they aren't pretty to face.

''The Loveliest Time' is more about ownership of yourself," Jepsen told the outlet. "I've discovered it. I know what's good, what's bad, what's ugly and everything. You're taking those lessons, learning from them but going back into the wide world and being ready to face it," she described.

Jepsen continued, "It’s funny because a lot of the songs are about the wild feeling that you will do anything to make yourself feel alive,” the singer explains. “Opening with ‘Anything to Be With You’ shows a ‘We will make it happen’ feeling. It’s a little movie-esque in that way. But I want my life to feel as wild as that. And many of the songs were written from a place where I still hadn’t met anybody I was that excited about; it was the longing for that,” Jepsen continued. “It’s been a weird thing of life imitating art because I feel like I’ve written all these experiences that now in real life I’m getting to have, and it’s odd to have it be written first and then kind of happen afterward."

Jepsen continues letting fans have a taste of what they can expect on the new album! On Friday, she posted a new reel featuring an unnamed track.

In the reel, Jepsen can be seen dancing on a roof and taking a motorcycle ride with a mystery man.

She writes, "Ever been in one of those relationships where everything is wrong? You fight all the time, you can’t see eye to eye on anything but some kinda physical pull keeps you coming back again and again despite yourself? I’m here to say that you’re not alone and that chemistry is just a bitch sometimes.🫦We could be wrong in a thousand ways but when it’s physical, when it’s critical…sometimes we get it so right."

Fans will find out the title of this song on July 28th when "The Loveliest Time" is released!
