Dylan Mulvaney's "Day 365 Live" event raised much money for a nonprofit organization.
Mulvaney partnered with The Trevor Project for the live streaming event in March that celebrated Mulvaney's one-year milestone. Months later, the well-known 26-year-old trans woman revealed how much money would help the nonprofit organization thanks to her event.
Dylan Mulvaney Raised A Lot Of Money For The Trevor Project
In a newly shared video on TikTok and Instagram, Mulvaney explains how much money was raised during her event. After showing an emotional clip from the possibility of her father hugging her on stage, she explained that not everyone has the support she does.
"That was a lovely moment between my dad and me on day 365, but not every queer, trans person has the support I do," she began her video.
"So, I partnered with The Trevor Project for my show, and I'm so excited to announce that between ticket sales and our brand sponsors, we raised $183,573.46, and my recent merch sales brought in $10,648. So, that is $194,257 going to The Trevor Project, which provides crisis services for queer youth."
Mulvaney reminded her followers that June is Pride Month, and it's an excellent time to be mindful of the brands and organizations "we are aligning with."
"The Trevor Project is truly incredible," she continued. "I just hope we can all find some pride this month, whatever that means to you."
Mulvaney said that she's struggling with that, but she's "staying hopeful."

"You're so amazing. You inspire so many people to be who they truly are x," one follower wrote. Another added, "We support you and love you. Stay strong and take care of yourself. 🥰"
There are plenty of supportive and loving comments on Mulvaney's TikTok post, and her identical Instagram post also got tons of love.
The Trevor Project wrote, "Thank you for supporting our life-saving crisis work.🧡🧡🧡"
Another follower shared a fact about the organization. "Fun fact about Trevor is even if you're not LGBTQ+ and you call in, they'll listen. That's true inclusion, and we love to see it!"
Dylan Mulvaney Began Documenting Her New Life As A Trans Woman In 2022
Mulvaney began documenting each day of her journey through womanhood starting on March 12, 2022. During the series on social media, she shared her adventures, from a pajama party with Kathy Hilton to visiting the White House to her female feminization surgery.
As she got closer to her first anniversary of the journey, Mulvaney knew she wanted to make it a big celebration and somehow include everyone who's supported her along the way.
"When I pictured this day, I saw it as a coming-out debutante ball, but I also saw it as a birthday party, a talk show, a standup show," Mulvaney told PEOPLE.
"I put it all together into a one-night-only, 1960s-style variety show at the top of Rockefeller Center. And I'm not going to lie; I can't think of anything better to do that day."
The event, held at The Rainbow Room in New York City, was an invitation-only event but was live-streamed for $5, which benefitted The Trevor Project.
When discussing the event in the days leading up to it, Mulvaney said this would be her first time back on a stage, "but in my proper gender identity."
