"When I pictured this day, I saw it as a coming-out debutante ball, but I also saw it as a birthday party, a talk show, a standup show," Mulvaney told PEOPLE. "I put it all together into a one-night-only, 1960s-style variety show at the top of Rockefeller Center. And I'm not going to lie, I can't think of anything better to do that day."

The Rainbow Room event will be invitation only, but Mulvaney's fans will be able to watch the live stream of the performance for $5. There will be special guests, and all proceeds are going to The Trevor Project. "Flash forward to a team of Broadway producers meeting with me and we came up with this epic full on musical event with singing and an orchestra and comedy and special guests."

She continued to explain that she once toured in a Broadway musical before transitioning, which makes this the perfect way to celebrate day 365. "I can't think of a better way than to celebrate day 365 than being the first time I'm on stage as a woman," she said.

She then explained that the event will be live streamed and there will be no tickets for guests to attend the live show explaining that "because the room is so small that there will just be me and the cameras, some of my loved ones, a few trans people, so that's why we went the live streaming route."

Many of Mulvaney's fans dropped into the comment section of the video to talk about how happy they are for her and how excited they are for the live stream event.

"So excited to watch! My whole family is going to buy tickets! love you Dylan," one follower wrote. Another added, "Congratulations can’t wait to cheer you on! And thank you for supporting the Trevor Project?."

Many people were excited that tickets are only $5 and proceeds are going to a great charity that helps LGBTQ youth. "Love how you make it actually affordable for those who might really wanna go but won’t have hundreds of dollars for a ticket shows you really care?," one person said. "I will be watching!!! I am so happy you’re doing this for the Trevor Project," another added.
