Mark Wahlberg Thrills as Tequila-Serving Bartender at Circa Las Vegas on Memorial Day

Mark Wahlberg took Circa Las Vegas by storm on Saturday night, playing bartender for a couple of hours at the downtown resort’s lively outside bar, Circa Bar, serving up his popular tequila, Flecha Azul, to thousands of fans.

To start, Circa Resort & Casino COO, David Rosborough, welcomed the A-lister on the custom Circa/Flecha Azul branded red carpet, where Mark posed for some photos before he started pouring tequila shots. The massive crowd on Fremont Street Experience remained anything but calm when they saw the actor make his special entrance. Photographers snapped away as he proudly flaunted a couple of tequila bottles in his hands.

Fans traveled from all over to get a glimpse of the “The Fighter” star get behind the bar and hand out shots – one woman even booked a flight from Norway to Vegas just for him!

During the visit, pumped-up fans were given priceless pieces of Wahlberg's artwork signed by the actor himself, including fun selfies, autographed bottles, signed t-shirts, and of course, tons of Flecha Azul! He even Facetimed a fan’s family member who couldn’t make it to Circa Bar this weekend. Mark’s admirers received everything they wanted and more. From fun selfies to autographed bottles, to signed t-shirts, and of course, Flecha Azul!

He also stopped for his loyal fans making his way through the casino to and from the event!

This appearance took over Twitter and Instagram, as countless news outlets and bloggers attended and documented the craziness. The action was wall-to-wall, and it couldn’t all be captured in just one photo!

Every ten minutes, the world’s largest television screen (Fremont Street Experience’s Viva Vision), spanning five football fields long, showcased the gorgeous array of tequila bottles. It was definitely a first seeing those bottles displayed in that fashion. Then, Circa Executive Richard Wilk, who helped coordinate this event, made it possible for Mark to jump over the bar and walk into the middle of the madness with his team, where he posed for a memorable photo right in the center of Fremont Street, underneath the Flecha Azul branded canopy. Fremont Street President/CEO, Andrew Simon, met up with the icon for some photos as well, right in the heart of his favorite place.

A few weeks ago, Mark shared a few videos on Instagram to get his fans hyped up about his upcoming Circa appearance. The videos’ views never stopped climbing (nearly four million, to be exact), and from that point on everyone knew this would be a huge moment.

He was good to his fans (as always), and everyone who had a taste of Flecha Azul agreed that this Memorial Day weekend was one for the books. If this event proved anything, it’s that you just never know who you’ll see at the newest celebrity hotspot, Circa Las Vegas!
