He removed the Stories relatively quickly, within about 30 minutes of sharing them. Because of the concerning nature of the posts and Morant's recent trouble with the league over two separate Instagram Lives where he flashed a firearm, police did a welfare check.

According to TMZ Sports, a spokesperson for the Shelby County Sheriff's Office said cops visited Morant's Tennessee home after he shared the cryptic posts. He told them "that he is taking a break from social media." The spokesperson added, "He is fine."

Considering he hasn't shared anything on social media since before his second Instagram Live gun controversy the weekend of May 13, many fans shared their concerning thoughts about the NBA star's mental health amid all the issues.
