Alec Baldwin Is 'Annoyed' By Wife Hilaria Baldwin's Request For A Selfie

On Thursday, actor Alec Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, attended the Pen America tribute to honor "Saturday Night Live" creator Lorne Michaels.

The yoga instructor revealed that she doesn't really get dressed up anymore and wanted to snap a selfie together before stepping on the elevator to mark the occasion. However, the "30 Rock" actor was apparently "annoyed" by her request for a selfie... and it shows!

On Thursday night, the Boston native took to Instagram to share two photos that showed off the front and back of her dazzling gown. Although she looks proud of her glammed-up look in the selfie, the 65-year-old actor looks like he would rather be anywhere but snapping a selfie in his tuxedo outside of the elevator.

"He was annoyed with me because I made him come out of elevator for a pic…it was worth it," she wrote in the caption. "We dress up so rarely now that Edu asked me: 'mommy, what’s on your eyeballs?' 'Makeup', I told him…I feel judged by a 2 year old," she joked.

"Swipe to see the back of this handmade dress and the brilliant designer @guvanchnyc. Hair by @jaredmriccardi. now Alec has to figure out how to untie the back and get me out of it…which means it might be my pjs until I can get help tomorrow from someone else," she joked.

Many of her famous friends had nothing but love for her simple selfies. Lifestyle editor and Feel Collective CEO Emma Bing commented, “It’s always worth it” while comedian Caroline Rhea added, “That is the most gorgeous dress and you look divine.” The social media sensations known as The Dimi Family also commented, “That dress” alongside two fire emojis and a single heart-eye emoji.

“Mom and dad looking fab! Enjoy your night out just as A + H,” one fan commented. “Fabulous dress,” another follower wrote. “A rare date night. Glammed out and all,” a third fan chimed in. “You both look lovely!” another follower exclaimed. “You look stunning, mama!” another fan shared. “Stunning all around and I love your hair,” another follower agreed.

It appears that the "Supercell" actor had no problems snapping a photo at the actual event. On Thursday night, the actor also took to Instagram to share a single photo that featured him posing alongside Tahgi Rahmani.

"At the PEN AMERICA benefit honoring LORNE MICHAELS. Also, imprisoned Iranian writer @narges_mohamadi_51," he wrote in the caption. "Narges Mohammadi received the 2023 PEN/Barbey Freedom to Write Award, which was accepted by her husband, Tahgi Rahmani (pictured here). Unbelievable courage on both of their parts."

Fans offered a lot of congratulations to Lorne Michaels. “Good reason to feel proud of these humans. I love #snl and his work. He's a comedic genius with exceptional foresight for an ever changing world....plus HE DOES IT WEEKLY!!!!!.. And Narges, congratulations to you also,” one fan commented. “Good looking group for a worthy cause,” another follower wrote. “Sweet bunch of people - brave Iranian woman,” a third fan chimed in.

However, many more fans wanted to congratulate Alec on becoming a grandfather. Earlier on Thursday afternoon, the 27-year-old daughter that he shares with actress Kim Basinger, Ireland Baldwin, welcomed her first child with her boyfriend, RAC, born André Allen Anjos.

Right before they left for the event, it looks like Hilaria rounded up the couple's seven children in order to share a group photo on Instagram and congratulate Ireland on her new bundle of joy. It looks like the group assembled quickly, as two of the younger children are only wearing diapers while the rest look like they're only wearing pajamas.

In the caption, Hilaria wrote, “All of these aunties and uncles and us grandparents are so excited that Holland is here!!! Congratulations to the mama and papa, Ireland, and Andre. We love you so very much!” Alec wrote “Miracle” in the comments while Ireland responded with a single emoji. Many fans and famous friends also offered their congratulations to the new mom!
