Ireland Baldwin Welcomes Her First Child With RAC

Model Ireland Baldwin has officially welcomed her first baby into the world!

After a public pregnancy journey and a stripper-club-themed baby shower, the 27-year-old daughter of actor Alec Baldwin and actress Kim Basinger revealed that she gave birth to her first child with RAC, whose real name is André Allen Anjos, after first announcing her pregnancy on New Year’s Eve 2022.

On May 18, Ireland took to Instagram to share a single photo of her posing in a hospital bed beside her boyfriend, RAC, who is sitting with his head against her shoulder. Ireland purposely hid her baby girl’s face with a blanket as the two smiled at the camera. In the caption, she simply wrote, “holland.”

Ireland had already shared her daughter’s name when she appeared on the Girlboss Radio podcast in January. “We’re naming her Holland. I’m Ireland, so another country name, because we wanted to keep that consistent,” Ireland shared.

“And then I love the actress Holland Taylor,” she added. “I’ve always loved that name since I was young, I just thought that was such a classy, beautiful name, so we’re going with Holland.”

“What I’m most excited about is really more centered around a lot of things I really wanted in terms of stability as a child myself that I didn’t have,” the first-time mom continued. “What’s kind of exciting is I get to raise this little human and do things completely differently than what I was taught was the norm.”

“It’s cool that I get to unconditionally love this person and do my best to make her as equipped for this world and bada** as possible,” she added.

Fans and famous friends were quick to shower the post with messages of congratulations. Model Sailor Brinkley Cook, the daughter of supermodel Christie Brinkley, wrote, “Omg. Happy birthday sweet angel Holland.” She added, “I love you already” in a separate comment. Make-up artist Liz Castellanos exclaimed, “Omg!!!! Congratulations you two!!!!”

“Wow so exciting!! You both look so happy! I hope you’re all doing well,” one fan commented. “Now you truly know what it is to be in love. Congratulations,” another follower wrote. “Congratulations! You look radiant!” a third fan exclaimed. “Congratulations! I’m so happy for the two of you,” another follower shared as fans showered the post with love.

Although Ireland has been more private about her pregnancy due to unwanted Internet advice, she did decide to share a look at her baby’s nursery earlier this month, which just so happens to have a fruit theme that even extends to the stuffed animals!

“I had so much fun styling this fruit-themed nursery for our little girl!” Ireland wrote in the caption. “@yojaxko killllllllled it with the fruits they painted on the walls!! And of course, @rac built everything because if something has more than 4 instructions, I’m not doing it.”

“I thrifted so many fruit-themed goodies. The furniture we chose were pieces from my childhood. And of course I spent way too much money on @jellycat stuffies because I had NO CHOICE,” she joked alongside a long string of fruit emojis.

Rumer Willis, the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore commented, “Okay I am officially jealous and want to move into this room.” Meanwhile, mom Kim Basinger commented, “Where IS YOUR BUTT CUSHION and BACK …… Will make all the difference in the world Love…….”

Fans had nothing but love for her nursery. “Wow, so refreshing to see a fun, colorful nursery instead of a boring gray pottery barn, run of the mill no imagination one,” one fan commented. “The cantaloupe slice is my favorite. The room is adorable! The only thing missing is a cushion for the rocking chair, you’ll spend a lot of time there and it’ll be easier on your tush!” another follower wrote. Kim joked, “She has a cushion both back and bottom but I don’t see it either… Let’s bug her until she puts in there.”

Since Ireland is officially a mother, it means that Kim and Alec Baldwin are both officially grandparents! Since Alec just finished filming “Rust” in Montana, fans are wondering if the 65-year-old actor will take a trip out to the West Coast to meet his first grandchild in person!
