Jimmie Allen's Wife Alexis Gale Unveils Their Third Baby's Gender Amid Divorce

Jimmie Allen's wife, Alexis Gale, is sharing the details of their bundle of joy.

The pair, whose love story blossomed after they crossed paths in 2019, decided to call it quits after three years together. The couple, who have two children together, are also expecting their third child, and in a recent post, she disclosed the baby's gender with Allen nowhere in sight.

Amidst the recent upheaval and media attention surrounding her estranged husband, the registered nurse sought solace in celebrating Mother's Day with a heartfelt announcement. Taking to her Instagram story, she shared a glimpse of their recent sonogram, and in a tender moment, she unveiled the gender of their upcoming bundle of joy.

Beneath the black and white snapshot, Gale joyfully captioned it with the words, "My baby boy," accompanied by a heart emoji, and concluded the message by wishing everyone a "Happy Mother's Day."

Allen, a doting father to his 8-year-old son Aadyn from a previous relationship, embarked on a new chapter of his life when he proposed to his fellow Delaware native in July 2019.

They joyfully welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Naomi Bettie, in March 2020 before exchanging vows in May 2021. They later embraced the arrival of another daughter, Zara James, in October 2021.

In a joint statement released on April 21, the former love birds shared two significant life updates. First, they revealed the joyous news that they were expecting their third child together and disclosed their decision to separate. 

According to sources close to the former couple, TMZ was told they experienced a period of on-and-off dynamics in their relationship. After careful consideration, they mutually reached the decision to part ways.

On his Instagram page, the 37-year-old wrote in the statement, "After much thought and reflection in recent months, Lex & I have decided to separate. As we navigate this life change, we can also share that we will welcome another child together later this year."

The "Make Me Want To" singer expressed their unwavering commitment to prioritizing the well-being and happiness of their children. Emphasizing their dedication to co-parenting, he underscored the importance of maintaining a respectful and harmonious relationship for their sake. 

To conclude the statement, he added, "In light of our growing family, we respectfully request privacy during this time." 

In a distressing turn of events, the songwriter found himself confronted with a sexual assault lawsuit filed by a former member of his management team. The Blast detailed that the allegations came to light shortly after he and Gale officially filed for divorce. 

The unnamed individual accused Allen of inflicting on them nearly two years of sexual abuse and harassment. This disheartening development emerged mere weeks after the licensed esthetician ceased following the country singer on social media, indicating a strain in their relationship.

The lawsuit revealed troubling allegations against the father-of-three, as he was accused of forcefully taking the virginity of a former manager, identified as Jane Doe, during a work trip to Los Angeles in March 2021.

According to the document, she woke up in her hotel room naked, experiencing vaginal bleeding and intense pain after a business dinner. She claimed to have no memory of what transpired. She further asserted that Allen urged her to take a Plan B pill to prevent pregnancy, indicating his awareness of the alleged incident. The plaintiff recalled:

"I was disconnected from my body, feeling a sense of panic. He held me in place. At that point, any physical will was just out the door. I was pretty much paralyzed."

She additionally detailed a series of additional instances in which she claims the "Freedom Was a Highway" singer subjected her to sexual abuse. These disturbing accounts include allegations of repeated rape, groping, and recording of their sexual encounters. 

In response to these claims, the Award-winning star firmly denied the allegations in a statement provided to PEOPLE asserting his innocence and maintaining his position against the accusations. He stated:

"It is deeply troubling and hurtful that someone I counted as one of my closest friends, colleagues, and confidants would make allegations that have no truth to them whatsoever."

Allen also revealed that the relationship in question had been consensual and that his accuser had made attempts to extort money from him following the end of their affair.
