Chet Hanks gave fans an excellent inspirational message.
The son of Academy Award winner Tom Hanks and veteran actress Rita Wilson, who converted from Atheism to Christianity some years back, always seizes any opportunity to relay religious messages to his 532 thousand Instagram followers.
His recent post on social media showed him channeling his inner preacher as he urged fans to get closer to God.
Chet Hanks Tells His Fans That God Can Empower Them
On May 8th, the "White Boy Summer" rapper took to his Instagram page to share an inspirational video. The clip, "ALL PRAISE TO THE highest," with a mountain emoji, showed the 32-year-old encouraging his supporters to draw closer to God.
In the video, the "Your Honor" actor was seen in a moving vehicle wearing a white polo shirt and a black baseball hat turned backward. A little peek at his hand revealed his arm tattoo and a gold wristwatch.
As the car moved, the "Empire" alum related a message, saying that no other relationship or commitment to other abstract or intangible things can satisfy them as a relationship with God can.
Speaking directly to his followers, Hanks said, "No relationship, no friendship, no family member, no job, no career, no promotion, no house, no car, no drink, no drug- nothing- will empower you or fill you with power, more than a relationship- a personal relationship with the highest."
Towards the end of the tape, the musician challenged his listeners to give his logic a trial and see "how powerful they become." He reiterated, "Go to creating that above all else and see how powerful you become," you dig.
The "confessed black sheep" of the Hanks clan post saw many fans' varying comments expressing their reactions to his message. A fan encouraged him by writing, "Wow, you have changed for[the] better. I can see it in your face and your mannerisms. You look different in a good way. Keep the faith. God bless."
A second fan wrote in agreement, "Seek his Kingdom first, and Everything else will be added! Amen ✝️✝️✝️.” Another user with the same opinion penned, "Truth! Preach it, brother." "Bro, you are such an inspiration," a fourth fan wrote.
However, one fan who seemed uninterested in the message quipped, "I get pretty high sometimes." Another who couldn't fathom the artist preaching the Gospel penned, "I think it's weird you believe in God, honestly."
In 2021, the then 30-year-old opened up about his conversion from atheism. As reported by The Christian Post, Hank shared that he was transformed after being touched by the hand of God.
He talked briefly about how his famous parents sent him away to a wilderness camp in Utah at age 17 for 12 weeks because of his bad behavior, which filled him with rage till a "day hike" changed his life.
The then-professing atheist recalled, "As I was looking out at that view and I was looking at where I had been from an elevated perspective — because I'd been stuck in this desert for 12 weeks and it just looked ugly boring, and there's nothing to look at. But now I'm looking at it from an elevated perspective of the top of this mountain."
Speaking more on his transformation, Hanks revealed that it felt like he was touched by the hand of God. He added, "All that anger, hate, and resentment flipped. It inverted to just infinite hope, gratitude, peace, love."
The "Greyhound" actor Motivates Fans To Have A Positive Mindset
In the long run, it appears being touched by God's hand has made the first child of the Hollywood power couple a self-care guru. Last month The Blast shared that the actor shared a video motivating his followers.
The clip showed Hanks in a casual shirt and a pair of sunglasses riding a car as he said to his fans, "Sometimes you just gotta go on a long walk or a hike, whatever by yourself. And talk out loud to yourself the whole time. Just start it off with, 'Hey, man. It's been a minute. How come it's been so long since we kicked it?'"
Chet added, "Just go wherever the conversation takes you but get it all out. Get it all off your chest. Talk to yourself. "
The "Bratz" star, speaking from experience, guaranteed an outstanding result to his fans. He said, "And I guarantee you that by the end of that conversation, you won't feel like you're walking alone. You're going to feel like you're walking with the king. Going to feel like you've been kicking it with your best friend."
Ultimately, the "Shameless" actor urged fans to follow his message, highlighting that their perspective plays an important role. He said, "Everything is how we talk to ourselves. Our self-talk and our mindset are Everything."
