“Dancing With the Stars” alum Lindsay Arnold and her husband Samuel Lightner Cusick announced they were expecting their second child together following complications.
” Sam and I are thrilled to announce we’re pregnant with baby No. 2!” she shared last year. “I can’t wait to take you along with me on my pregnancy journey and what this means for my new fitness platform, The Movement Club.”
The news comes after the 28-year-old revealed she was having fertility struggles. “When you get a positive pregnancy test, and then you start your 🩸 a few days later, but your sweet daughter is there for you every step of the way …” she wrote alongside a video back in August.
Now, the former “Dancing With the Stars” pro is welcoming her baby girl into the world as she announced she gave birth on May 4, 2023.
Lindsay Arnold Welcomes A Baby Girl!
Lindsay Arnold has taken her fans along her pregnancy journey for the last nine months, and it has now come to an end as this afternoon, she shared she has given birth to her baby girl.
“Baby girl is here and we are so in love,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself, her husband, and their newborn child. “Mama and baby are healthy and we are soaking up every minute with our little piece of Heaven 💕 thank you for all the love we will share more soon 💕.”
The “Dancing With the Stars” account commented, “Congratulations, so happy for you two! 💜💜” as television personality Lauren Zima said, “Ahhhh CONGRATS!!!!!! You look so happy and beautiful!”
Fellow “Dancing With the Stars” pro dancer Jenna Johnson also chimed in, “SHE IS PERFECT!!!!! So proud of you 💕,” as did pro Emma Slater, who wrote, “yesssssss!!! She’s here!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Congratulations guys!”
Did Lindsay Arnold Hint At Her Name?
Other fans began guessing the baby girl’s name as one user commented, “Going to guess her name is Heaven 😉 // Congratulations to your beautiful growing family,” as another wrote, “Ok… Heaven is capitalized. Is that a low key hint on the name?🤔.”
Another simply asked, “Is her name Heaven??”

Lindsay Arnold previously revealed fertility struggles she faced, making her nervous going into her second pregnancy. “Going into this next one, I was very nervous,” she told E! News. “I was cautiously optimistic, but I also had a really peaceful content feeling about it. I felt like it was right. I felt like it was our time.”
Now that the two welcomed their baby girl into the world, Arnold is joking about her intution, as she admitted she was positive she was having a baby boy. “I was one million percent convinced that I was having a boy for my first pregnancy and I was obviously wrong,” she said. “Now I just feel like I can’t even trust my intuition. I’ll find out soon.”
