It all started with an interview about corn in a New York City park. And now, Tariq Logan, 7, is making his acting debut on the hit daytime soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
“Corn Kid” Will Be A Guest Star On “The Bold And The Beautiful” This Week
In a TikTok video, Logan, otherwise known to the internet as the viral “Corn Kid,” reveals his role on the popular soap opera and when it will air.
“I recently just had my first experience as an actor on a TV show. On Wednesday and Thursday, I will be on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful,'” he said. “I’m playing Orville. He’s the grandson of the character, he’s gonna be played by Jimmy Walker.”
He continued to remind people that Walker is known from starring on the hit show, “Good Times,” and said that his grandma loves him. He said it was “such a fun day on set.”
According to Soap Opera Network, “Viral sensation ‘Corn Kid’ (Tariq Logan) makes his daytime drama debut on the Wednesday, May 3 and Thursday, May 4 episodes when he appears as Orville, the grandson of ‘Count Bouche’ (played by Walker), in scenes alongside Sean Kanan, who plays Deacon Sharpe on the series.”
Logan seemed to enjoy acting, and he also got to incorporate his love of corn, what made him an internet sensation, in his acting debut. “But wait, this is my favorite part,” he continued. “I got to eat corn!”
Logan also got the added bonus of being part of the show’s 9,000th episode celebration.
“I was really nervous, but I loved acting,” he said. “I cannot wait to do it again.”

Many dropped congratulatory messages in the comment section for the corn-loving 7-year-old.
“That’s Dynamite!,” one person wrote, in honor of Walker.
“Good job little dude! Keep making us all proud you’re amazing and such a hard worker always remember though most important thing is to just have fun❤️,” another fan wrote.
He Has Been Enjoying A “Corn-Awesome” Adventure Since Last Summer
What started as one simple interview in a park about corn on the cob, has now turned into a wild ride of nothing but fun and adventure for the young New York City resident. After his interview with Recess Therapy went viral on TikTok, the doors opened for Logan to enjoy a “corntastic” journey.
His viral interview was turned into a catchy song that TikTokers couldn’t escape for a while. It was popping up as fast as popcorn everywhere!
Logan was then named the “Corn-Bassador” of South Dakota, was interviewed by Drew Barrymore on “The Drew Barrymore Show,” appeared on the Green Giant’s float in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, was interviewed by Kenan Thompson and Kevin Hart, and collaborated with wildly popular YouTuber MrBeast more than once. He has also walked the red carpet for a few movies and recently the Broadway show, “Shucked.”
Logan’s love of corn has taken him far, and it appears he’s far from retiring his corn cob.
