Inside Heather Rae & Tarek El Moussa's First Home Together

Heather Rae & Tarek El Moussa are bringing the cameras into their home!

The real estate and home renovation power couple moved in together within the first few weeks of dating in 2019 before tying the knot in 2021. Although each owned individual homes, they finally purchased one together and shared a peek into the stunning property. 

In a joint post, the love birds showed off their expensive home as part of a feature in HGTV's magazine. The first slide showed the blonde beauty, pregnant with their first child at the time, standing beside her husband. 

The impressive black brick building towering behind them boasted a small patio, large window panes, and a white glass door. The brown wooden gate attached to a small brick fence had tall green shrubs that gave some privacy away from prying eyes.

A swipe to the left saw the couple in a gorgeous kitchen with black tiles on the wall, which perfectly contrasted against the white cabinets. It had three pendants above the extensive wet bar made with black marble and chairs with gold bottoms.

The bedroom had a warmer theme with an oversized brown headboard, bedsheet, curtains, and furry rug. There were also gray pillows, a blanket, side cupboards, and small sofas. The high ceiling gave way to a low-hanging round chandelier with candle-shaped bulbs. 

The nursery blended vintage and modern design with its gray and white walls, black crib and sofa, and a fluffy white table. Some green colors in the plant on the shelf, toy, and blanket added warmth.

The rooftop outdoor patio area had a high brown fence, an L-shaped white and black sectional sofa, a glass and marble stone table, and a green plant. The real star of the image was their little pug, who sat posed on the chair.

The family's living room area featured a dark fireplace with a flatscreen TV on the wall above it, in front of a cozy wrap-around gray couch. A white cabinet was placed beside the fireplace, and the area was incredibly well-lit due to the ceiling-to-floor glass window. 

In the caption, the blonde beauty expressed their exciting journey of finding and designing their first home together. She thanked the network for the feature and stated:

"Most of you probably know that we moved in together within the first 2 weeks of dating, but what you might not know is this is actually our first home together, and we designed every detail:)."

She gave further details about how very involved they were in the process before concluding that it was the “perfect place” for the family. 

As the El Moussa family continues to grow, it is inevitable that at least one parent must bear the larger share of responsibility for discipline. The Blast recently reported that Heather and Tarek revealed who amongst them was the stricter parent while reveling in their newborn.

Heather expressed her adoration for Tristan while her beau described their son as having a "big personality" and being an "active little guy." On navigating the challenge of balancing their parenting styles, the "Flip or Flop" star told TODAY:

"Heather is stricter than me, for sure. I play games and wrestle with the kids. When she says, 'OK, it's bedtime,' I'm like, 'OK, five more minutes!' But then, I will enforce her rules."

The former model admitted to coming across as more rigid but emphasized that they worked well together as parents. 

In June 2022, the pair announced their new reality show, "The Flipping El Moussa," and only revealed the premiere date after keeping up the suspense for months. As reported by The Blast, the TV personalities gave fans a sneak peek of what to expect from the upcoming series, before releasing a joint update to keep the project's momentum going.

The couple promised a comprehensive view of their lives, from their personal struggles to their real estate business ventures. The caption unveiled some new and previously undisclosed information about the upcoming HGTV series. 

The actress added, "we're pulling back the curtain and sharing part of our life with you in @hgtv's docs-series, The Flipping El Moussas ?." In addition to teasing exciting developments on the show, the write-up revealed that the couple loved working together. 

The reality TV stars further stated, "We're both so grateful to have made the Flipping El Moussas work around our busy family and filming schedules with both Selling Sunset and Flipping 101 ? so buckle up because there's definitely never a dull moment!"
