Tarek El Moussa Encourages Prioritizing 'Quality Time' In Date Night Post With Heather

Tarek El Moussa is placing his marriage with Heather Rae El Moussa ahead of everything else.

Since the duo welcomed their first child, Tristan, together in January, they have become more committed to making the most of their time with each other. Thus, they were beyond excited when a little help from their family members resulted in them having a date night recently.

Anybody who has ever birthed or cared for a child knows how difficult it is to get time alone. Hence, the El Moussas did not let their chance to take a break from their parents' duties waste when it came earlier this week.

The lovebirds donned their outfits — Tarek in his signature black round-neck T-shirt and Heather in a long-sleeved Fendi top — and went to an undisclosed restaurant around.

The "Flip or Flop" alum shared two pictures from the occasion, with the first showing them holding each other tightly while sitting in their designated booth. A swipe to the left unveiled a selfie of the couple smiling at the camera, highlighting Heather's tired eyes and makeup-free face. Below the post, Tarek exclaimed:

"Mom and Dad got a date night!!! Just like anything in life: if you make it a priority, there's no excuse for it to not happen."

The father-of-three admitted that even though he and his wife "have always prioritized quality time together," things were "a little harder" now that they have a newborn baby. Despite that obstacle, the twosome was still determined to get quality time because "Date night is here to stay!!"

The 41-year-old rounded off with a question about how often his followers enjoyed date nights. While a few people attempted to answer the question, others were more focused on Tarek and Heather leaving their son at home so soon after his birth. 

One critic alleged that it sounded "more like showboating than it does a date night," adding that their daughter, who just welcomed "a baby 9 weeks ago," was "sooooo exhausted" and did not have "the time and energy to shower, let alone a date night. Maybe she could borrow your night nanny??"

Although the troll got slammed by other people, Heather stepped into the comment section to explain, "Every persons situation is different and every baby is different. Our moms were very happy to be home with our baby so Tarek and I could have two hours together." 

The 35-year-old further stated that since everybody's body was different, how they dealt with exhaustion would also differ. She finished by expressing hope that the person’s daughter "is loving her newborn time."

The "Love in the Time of Machines" actress and her beau had taken their first date night after Tristan's arrival last month. As reported by The Blast, Tarek kept his fans in the loop by posting multiple contents from the event, leading with a video that showed his wife wearing a little black dress and heels.

The "Flipping El Moussas" star is seen following Heather, saying, "Alright, our first night out in what, how long? 11 months, ten months, nine months. I dunno, how long it takes to make a baby." He then asked Heather if she was ready for "date night" and complimented her looks as she walked towards the black vehicle parked outside. 

The Blast recently noted that Tarek enjoyed some me-time with his baby boy, which was captured and shared via an update on Heather's Instagram story. The sweet image featured little Tristan bundled up in a wrap blanket while a cute beanie covered his head as he napped.

As for his dad, the television personality wore a black hoodie with stars on the sleeves as he sat on a blue couch and held his son in his arms. He reposted the adorable moment on his Instagram Story, keeping his wife's original caption, which read:

"Our little bear ? @therealtarekelmoussa Gave Tristan a bath tonight, our boy loves the water." 

The proud dad simply added two red heart emojis to the top of the image. Spending time with his newborn is nothing to the real estate investor who recently claimed that being a third-time dad was "just as exciting, nerve-racking, emotional" as the first two times.

He shares two kids — Taylor and Brayden — with his ex-wife, Christina Hall.
