Nicola Peltz Gives Rare Insight Into Friendship With 'Kindest' Selena Gomez

Who says genuine connection can't be built in the Hollywood industry?! Well, Nicola Peltz and Selena Gomez have gone ahead to prove doubting Thomases wrong, after forming an unbreakable bond with one another.

The two gorgeous actresses caused a frenzy online after they soft-launched their budding friendship back in November 2022 by hosting a girls' night, celebrating the release of Gomez's documentary, "My Mind And Me."

They have since then become fans' favorites. Peltz recently put the icing on the cake after declaring that Gomez is her "soul sister."

While most celebrities are in the habit of coming out to explain the reason for their split from a close pal, Peltz, on the other hand, seems to be doing the exact opposite as it relates to her relationship with the "Same Old Love" singer.

Opening up to the public about the status of her friendship with Gomez, the "Bates Motel" actress during a chat with COSMOPOLITAN, revealed all there is to know as regards her camaraderie with the singer.

When asked how they became close, she said, "I had met her once in passing a few years ago, and then we all went to this event in September, the Academy Gala."

"The Last Airbender" actress added, "We just clicked and had the best time. And then we became super, super close. I feel like she's my soul sister."

Peltz, who became overwhelmed with emotions when speaking, declared her affection for Gomez. In her words, "I love her so much. She's truly one of the most amazing people I've met in my whole life."

She further described the "Icecream" singer as the "kindest person ever." She noted, "Truly, her heart is gold. I feel like I've known her forever." As for Gomez's relationship with Peltz's husband, Brooklyn Beckham, luckily for the trio, they all get along so well. She disclosed, saying, "Oh my god. We're like, 'Yeah, we are a throuple.' We are all three best friends."

Although Peltz and Gomez's friendship still appears to be fresh out of the oven, it hasn't refrained tongues from wagging endlessly about the longevity of their relationship.

Per The Blast, the two entertainers melted hearts after they posted pictures that revealed the memories they shared during New Year's eve while on a trip to Los Cabos.

Taking to their different Instagram accounts to flaunt their sweet bond, the actresses looked gorgeous dressed in similar "Valentino" mini-dresses. The designer outfits, which were made complete with personalized labels, featured silver.

Posing side by side for the camera, Peltz and Gomez held each other's hands as they further paired their ensembles with the brand's signature shoes — a pair of see-through peep toe sandals. 

Completing the whole twin vibe they had going, the pair wore similar hairstyles, as they had their tresses styled into sleek ponytails. Peltz expressed her love for Gomez in the post, writing, "I love you my angel forever."!!!

As expected, the heartwarming display of affection evoked mixed reactions from supporters of the duo. One wrote, "Y'all don't understand how much I'm happy that Nicola is Selena's friend now ❤️."

Another gushed, "Thank you for being such a special friend to Selena ??? @nicolaannepeltzbeckham." A third observed, "Since you and Selena are friends, she seems happier, thank you for your friendship ? @nicolaannepeltzbeckham."

Meanwhile, a few of the actresses' supporters continued their unsolicited remarks on Twitter. A user with the handle "@BABYLONGRAY" harshly declared, "Nicola is turning Selena into the shallow ig model she once was." 

Another observer tweeted, "starting to think Selena is in a poly relationship with Brooklyn and Nicola idk." "I wonder how long this friendship between Nicola and Selena will last cause all I'm saying is Selena and Cara attached to the hip and suddenly we saw less and less of Cara," a third user pondered. 

While Gomez and Peltz recently built a solid relationship for themselves, it seems the "Come & Get It" singer sort of foreshadowed being close with the younger Beckhams.

According to The Blast,  the singer seemingly predicted having close ties with Brooklyn years back. It would be recalled that back in 2015, rumors were flying around that Gomez and Beckham had struck up a relationship of some sort.

Quenching the rumors during an interview with Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live," she said, "How old is he? Isn't he sixteen? Now I know I look sixteen, but I'm 23, like no, I just did a movie with Chloe (his former girlfriend), and she's outstanding."

Fast forward to 2022, the "Wolves" singer joked on Instagram that Beckham, his wife Peltz, and herself are a "throuple."
