A five-part docuseries “called Jussie Smollett: Anatomy of a Hoax, will stream on Fox Nation starting on Monday and the Osundairo brothers are in it telling their story. The clip shared reveals the brother looking to give a pretty detailed account of what went down with Jussie.

Fans (or haters) of the actor will remember that back in 2019, Smollett walked into a police station and filed a report stating that he was attacked while on his way to Subway at about 2 a.m. It was eventually revealed that two men had been identified as his attackers and their stories weren’t matching up with Smollett’s but in an odd way.

The brothers are now sharing what actually went down, from their point of view, of course, because Smollett’s story isn’t the same.

“We made sure we got there at 2 a.m. sharp. We had no phones because he did not want us to bring any phones,” Remembers one of the brothers, Abimbola.

“So 2 a.m., he was nowhere to be found. He was not there, so we were like, ‘Damn, what do we do?’ We didn’t have no way of contacting him. He had no way of contacting us. So, we waited here for about … four minutes.”

The brothers remember how cold it was waiting for Smollett to round that corner and having to remember to say that one important line.

“As we cross the street, we said, ‘Hey,’ to get his attention. ‘Hey, n—–.’ He turned around, looked at us, and that’s when we started yelling the famous slurs he wanted us to yell. ‘Hey, aren’t you that ‘Empire’ f—-t?'”

The brothers were actually on the street where the alleged staged assault took place. They bravely brought the cameras back to the corner that changed their lives forever.

Abimbola recalls that the fight was important because Smollett needed to appear as if he fought back.

“We started tussling, moving around, and then I pull him to the ground. He wanted it to look like he fought back. That was very important for him because he said, ‘Hey, don’t just beat my ass. Make it look like I’m fighting back and whatnot.'”

Obviously, we all know how this turned out for Smollett he was charged with disorderly conduct, and in March 2022 he was sentenced to 150 days in jail, he only ended up serving six days in jail and shared at the time that he would be appealing.

During the trial, Smollett and his legal team attempted to accuse one of the brothers of being a homophobe and another of being a “disgruntled ex-lover”. He was also questioned as to why he paid the brothers $10,000, he said it was for a nutrition plan and personal training.

The whole ordeal was confusing for those interested to follow and even Smollett and the brothers seemed discombobulated at times. Maybe this documentary will clear up some of the confusion.
