Cardi B’s momentum is red hot right now after the release of her “Up” single last week. It has the potential to be the No. 1 song in the US this week as well.
Today on Twitter, Cardi also spoke on a topic that she addressed before but fans wanted an explanation on. She said how she is nervous for asking for features from other artists so, Offset does that for her. This includes collaborations with some other huge rappers out, such as herself.
Offset Got Cardi Collaborations With Playboi Carti And 21 Savage
"I don't know why this is circulating & trending again but imma make it very clear," Cardi said. "The only people I wanted was 21 Savage & Playboi Carti .I actually still Carti verse safe but he turn his verse in late. This was a trap record so I only wanted trap artist ."
Cardi also emphasized that she’s simply shy to ask for these collabs. Therefore, Offset comes through in the clutch for her.
"I always said this ...I always been shy to ask for features That's why offset always did it for me .He asked 21 & playboi and the features on my album .Don't come to my page begging and trolling for answers then when I give it ya get mad .WTTFF !"
Cardi Has Collaborated With 21 Multiple Times
Cardi and 21 working together is nothing new. The two first linked up on Cardi‘s “Bartier Cardi” single. This appeared on Cardi‘s 2018 debut studio album, “Invasion of Privacy.” That collab went on to be certified 3x platinum in the US. On DJ Khaled’s “Father of Asahd” album in 2019, the two were on the “Wish Wish” song. That hit platinum status as well. Fans also anticipate 21 to appear on Cardi’s upcoming sophomore album.

Cardi And Carti Collab Has Yet To Be Released
Cardi and 21 have had smash hit collaborations and now, fans are waiting for Cardi to deliver the one with Carti. She previewed a record that she had with him back in the summer of 2019 but it’s unclear if that is the same one she’d plan to put out in the near future. Either way, this would do huge numbers on the charts and likely give Cardi another No. 1 record, which seems to be a trend for her since 2018.

Cardi’s ‘Up’ Is Already A Viral Hit
“Up” has been in rotation by Cardi fans worldwide as well as nightclubs and radio stations. This may be her second consecutive No. 1 single since last fall as well. The previous one was “WAP,” featuring Megan Thee Stallion.
This is also Cardi‘s first solo single since “Press” in 2019. Cardi has shown that she can win big on her own and the support by fans over the last four years has shown exactly this, ever since “Bodak Yellow” in the summer of 2017.
