"Hi everybody, it's Babs. Let's do Super Bowl Sunday the Babs way," she began her video. "Let's have a party!" She then runs through a list of easy tips to help make the day fun without adding any unnecessary stress.

The first tip she gave was about the dress code, suggesting that everyone wears their favorite football jersey. The second tip is about drinks. "Have drinks ready. Whatever you're serving your drinks in, whether it's a cooler or a bucket, make sure that you attach the bottle opener right to the container," she said. "Cause everyone is always looking for the bottle opener and it can't go too far."

Babs then shared some information that some people may not be aware of when it comes to using Solo cups. "And don't forget, if you're using Solo cups, you've got an instant bartender," she said. "Ever wonder why they have all these lines? I'm gonna tell you why."

She then explained that the bottom line measures one shot, the next line is a serving of wine, and the top line measures 12 ounces of beer.

Tip number three was about making a bottomless bowl of chips and dip the easy way. "Take a deep bowl. Take a wine glass, whatever you have on a stem," she said. "Just fill the glass with your dip. Place the glass in your deep bowl, surround with chips. Trust me, you won't be replenishing this all night."

The next tip is to help with making food ahead of time with the use of crock pots. Babs suggests making pulled pork in one crock pot and throwing hot dogs into a second crock pot for the kids. "Throw them all in, cover, set on high for two hours," she said. "They'll be warm the whole evening."

Babs' next tip was about playing Super Bowl Squares to help keep everyone interested in the game. The caption of the Instagram video explains how to play.

"? Have FUN! What is a Super Bowl party without Super Bowl Squares? Here is how you play: Create a 10×10 grid (100 individual squares).

- Someone leads game and acts as “bank”. Banker has four empty envelopes marked with each quarter. Banker puts the appropriate prize money in each envelope upon collection.

- Players claim open boxes on the board by putting initials in each box they choose. We like to do $1 . Bank collects as players initial squares.

- The banker randomly assigns numbers 0-9 to each of the 10 rows and columns. Make sure each row has a unique number and the same for the columns. To determine a winning square you will be using the last digit of each team’s score at the end of each quarter.

- 1st quarter: 15% of pot ($15 on $1 squares)

- 2nd quarter: 20% of pot ($20 on $1 squares)

- 3rd quarter: 25% of pot ($25 on $1 squares)

- 4th quarter/Overtime: 40% of pot ($40 on $1 squares)"

Babs' Followers Expressed Their Love For Her Tips

One of Babs' followers added a suggestion for the kids at the party. "Love it. My hint- if you are having kids over (we let our kids invite their friends) do a grid pool for free for them, and the winners of each quarter win candy or gum. Just divide 100 by how many kids are there, and they get to fill in that many boxes (no $ collected). Kids love it!"

One person commented about not knowing the Solo cup trick. "How can I be in my 60’s and Did Not know about the drink levels on a red solo cup?!? Babs!!!!❤️??" Another person also added their thoughts on the Solo cup lines. "Love all the tips. But I think the solo cup line for wine ? needs to be changed to the beer line ?"
