Does Channing Tatum hear wedding bells in his future?
The “Magic Mike” star opened up to Vanity Fair about his possible marriage plans and shed some light on his relationship with Zoë Kravitz.
The couple has been together since 2021 following their respective divorces.
Channing Tatum Gets Candid About Possibility Of Marrying Again
Tatum was previously married to Jenna Dewan after meeting on the set of “Step Up” in 2006.
They tied the knot in 2009 and welcomed their only child together, Everly, in 2013.
Sadly, the Hollywood sweethearts couldn’t stand the test of time and split in 2018. Their divorce was finalized in 2019.
Tatum & Zoë Kravitz Are Both Divorcées
Kravitz on the other hand only recently finalized her divorce from her ex-husband, Karl Glusman.
Kravitz and Glusman started dating in 2016 and the pair got engaged in 2018. She spilled the beans during an interview with Rolling Stone.
The former couple exchanged “I Dos” in June 2019 at her father, Lenny Kravitz’s, Paris home.
She filed for divorce in December 2020 and eight months later it was finalized.
So, does Tatum see himself settling down forever with Kravitz?
Channing Tatum Unsure If He'll Ever Get Married Again; It's Hard
“I don’t know if I’m ever going to get married again,” he admitted to Vanity Fair. “Relationships are hard for me. Even though I am a bit of a monogamist.”
Tatum said he doesn’t have any real fears of being destroyed when it comes to business, but when love is involved… it’s terrifying.
“But heart things, when it comes to people I love, I have a really hard time. I end up trying too hard, you know?” he explained.
As mentioned, Tatum has a daughter with Dewan, so he’s fulfilled his fatherly dreams.
Kravitz explained she feels like she’s “supposed to want” marriage and kids, but she began questioning these milestones in 2022.
Speaking to GQ in November, she said, “That’s an uncomfortable question, especially for a woman to ask herself. I’m done romanticizing the ‘old is domestic’ thing. It’s cute for a minute and then it’s not.”
Kravitz and Tatum’s relationship began while working on “P***y Island,” which Kravitz served as director.
He revealed during an interview that she scolded him for wearing Crocs, and that it led to him to throw away his pair and never look back.
“When someone can just come out and tell me I should not be wearing Crocs, and is so adamant about it, she completely convinced me and I never wear Crocs anymore,” Tatum told Deadline at the time.
Kravitz retorted, “I was just trying to be a good friend, Chan.”
