'Southern Charm' Kathryn Dennis Reportedly Fired, Was A No-Show For Several Events

Kathryn Dennis has been a staple on Southern Charm since season one, but it looks like, after 8 seasons, production has had enough of her.

The mom of two was Bambi-eyed when she first appeared on our TV screens and she soon became the cast villain when her attitude rubbed many of her fellow cast members the wrong way.

While no one official from Bravo or the production company has released an official statement, the news is making the rounds and allegedly coming from a pretty good source. Dennis has finally done a little too much for production to look past.

According to The Sun, Kathryn Dennis’ contract for season 9 has not been renewed for more than one reason.

The mom of two was supposedly halting production and considered a “no-show” at many mandatory events. “I know Bravo didn’t offer her a contract, but when you treat people poorly like she has, they finally get sick of it.”

The insider went on to say, “She doesn’t show up on time or show up at all during filming a lot.” Plus, we all know Kathryn can give a lashing and is extremely harsh with her words at times. This is beginning to become a problem on set.

“She treats people like they are beneath her. She can’t stand anyone doing better or getting more attention than her. “Bravo even allegedly brought in a new producer specifically for Dennis, to wrangle her in. The efforts were in vain.

The reality star may have screwed herself over because this is a huge paycheck for her and her kids. “I know she’s had money issues, and now I don’t know how she’s going to work. She’s never had a job,” the insider said. “I’m worried for her, but maybe this is a wake-up call.”

Kathryn is a favorite amongst the good ol’ boys on the show Austin Kroll, Craig Conover, Shep Rose, and sometimes her baby daddy Thomas Ravenel before he was kicked off the show for similar behavior. But the women often had issues with Kathryn’s behavior and how she addressed them both on the show and off.

By season three some cast members like Cameron Eubanks refused to shoot with her. Patricia Altschul wasn’t secretive about Dennis not being her favorite person, she even talked a little smack about her with some of the other women.

Every season it seems like Kathryn does something that makes a handful of her cast members upset so naturally, every year fans wonder if she will get asked to come back. Her moments aren’t small and passable, she gets nasty.

Dennis once lunged at Whitney Sudler-Smith accusing him of taking Ravenel to a strip club while she was pregnant with their son Saint. Pretty ballsy seeing as Whit is the executive producer of the show.

Fans thought she would be fired for sure when she used the monkey emoji to clap back at a black radio host and still, there she was season 7 and season 8. It isn’t clear exactly what the moment was that made the show give her the boot but fans are happy to no longer have to see Dennis on their TV screens.
