Todd and Julie Chrisley might not have to go through their lengthy prison sentence as complete novices.
As you might know, the famous American reality TV couple met their fate when they were sentenced to joint 19 years in prison after being convicted and found guilty of tax evasion and bank fraud amid other financial crimes.
However, as their jail time inches closer, a former celebrity, who has had her share of going to prison, is advising the Chrisleys on how to endure the difficult time ahead.
Teresa Giudice Urges The Chrisleys To 'Stand Strong'
"Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice recently spoke up about what she believes Todd and Julie should do while serving their prison sentence so that they can come out strong on the other side.
It doesn’t come as a shock that Giudice is choosing to give the couple a piece of advice, given that she spent 11 months in prison for bank fraud, wire fraud, and other financial fraud charges. While her own jail time is significantly shorter, the Bravo Housewife believes the same rules apply.
Guidice, during a run-in with TMZ, shared the number one advice she has for Todd and Julie as they venture into prison as celebrities. "I would say…like…standing strong. So stand strong," she implored. "Stand strong for their family and manifest while being in prison what they want when they come out."
"The Celebrity Apprentice 5" alum admitted that it wasn’t going to be a smooth ride for the "Chrisleys Knows Best" stars given that their sentence would be much longer and during their period, their kids would hit numerous milestones without them.
"It’s going to be very hard for them. But they have to make the best of it, stand strong for their family and stay connected," Giudice explained. When asked if she would advise the Chrisley kids to go visit their parents in prison, the reality star gave an affirmative yes.
She revealed that her children — Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana — visited her weekly, which was important to her survival and the connectedness of her family.
Finally, Giudice addressed the issue of food in prison. She assured that despite what the media portrays, the food in prison wasn’t so bad for her. However, the caveat to it was that she worked in the kitchen, so she had an impact on the quality of the meals.
The New York Times bestseller disclosed that she exercised daily, did yoga, and achieved the feat of writing her book in prison, giving the Chrisleys a glimmer of hope.

Julie will serve her time at the Federal Correctional Institution Marianna, while Todd will do his at the Federal Prison Camp Pensacola.

In her words, "My parents regularly say, and I believe they’ve said on their podcast as well, that at this time it’s basically living every day like it’s your last, enjoying the moment, spending time with their kids that are in Nashville."
As for the state of the 33-year-old’s relationship with her parents, Lindsie noted that she is supporting Julie and Todd from afar. "Of course, I’m spending time with my parents over the phone because I also have shared custody [with my ex-husband William Campbell]. So I don’t have the luxury of being able to just pick up and go to Nashville and be there until January," she revealed.
Lindsie concluded, mentioning that her parents are also keeping busy doing therapy and engaging in biblical studies while the rest of the family is "adjusting to what is now our new normal."
