Waka Flocka Flame Catches Heat After Dissing Nick Cannon For Anti-Semitic Apology

Waka Flocka Flame is catching major backlash after slamming Nick Cannon after "The Masked Singer" host apologized to the Jewish community over his anti-Semitic comments. The 34-year-old rapper took to social media on Friday, July 17 to critique the radio personality's decision to issue an apology. Earlier in the day, Nick Cannon drew attention after dropping a concerning message about the black community turning their backs on him in his time of need. Many fans took his Instagram post as a cry for help and worried about his mental health.

In the early hours of Friday morning, Nick Cannon shared a cryptic post and tagged his location as "Heaven." The troubling message read, "I hurt an entire community and it pained me to my core. I thought it couldn't get any worse. Then I watched my own community turn on me and call me a sell-out for apologizing. Goodnight. Enjoy Earth."
When The Shade Room posted Nick Cannon's "Heaven" message with the caption, "#NickCannon speaks out about the recent backlash he faced after his apology," Waka Flocka Flame immediately lashed out.

Taking aim at Nick Cannon's decision to apologize, the "Hard in da Paint" rapper put the star on blast. "Why and how could you apologize for your truth ..? Your name is cannon for a reason and that topic linger a lot," he wrote, before adding, "instead of apologizing you should've just had a real sit down with someone in that community that can explain the truth so we could end all lies. I'm just saying." Waka Flocka Flame signed off by telling Nick Cannon to "get well."
Fans aren't happy with Waka Flocka's take on things and say his reaction is part of the problem.

"Somebody could be at the edge of a cliff and then comes that one comment to push a brotha right on over. Bad timing ?," one person told Waka Flocka Flame. "he can apologize for offending someone. There is nothing wrong with that," responded someone else. "Don't make him feel worse. And how do u know that he didn't have a conversation with someone in that community?" added a third.
As The Blast reported, Nick Cannon's fans flocked to Twitter to pray for his wellbeing after he dropped the concerning "Heaven" post. They also included Tamar Braxton in their prayers after she was rushed to the hospital for potential attempted suicide just hours prior.
