Nick Cannon scared fans after he shared a cryptic post tagging himself in Heaven following the backlash from his anti-Semitic comments and now, they are praying for his wellbeing along with Tamar Braxton. Hours after Tamar Braxton was rushed to the hospital following a possible suicide attempt, Nick Cannon took to his social media to share a post about the black community turning their back on him when he needed it most. Displaying his location as “Heaven,” he described his low point before signing off telling his followers to “Enjoy Earth.”
His post immediately collected attention with fans and A-listers like Ne-Yo and Cedric the Entertainer expressing their concern and support. Days ago, Nick Cannon was axed from his job as host of “Wild ‘n Out” after ViacomCBS severed ties with the star following anti-Semitic comments he made about the Jewish community.
After he apologized, Nick Cannon says his own community turned on him and called him a “sell-out.” Now, his fans are flocking to Twitter to send out prayers for his wellbeing, as well as Tamar Braxton’s recovery.
“Please let Tamar Braxton be okay.
Please let Nick Cannon be okay,” one fan wrote, adding, “Black mental health is important. It needs to be discussed. People go through things in silence & by themselves. Lord keep them safe.”
“Seeing all of this with Tamar Braxton and Nick Cannon breaks my heart because mental health needs to be talked about in the black community,” a second fan wrote. “Not just because celebrities are hurting but they are proof that not even money can help you run away from it.”
