Mariah Carey isn’t easing the minds of Nick Cannon‘s fans after she shared a cryptic post following concerns her ex-husband may be struggling with his mental health. It all started in the early hours of Friday morning when the former “Wild ‘n Out” host tagged himself in “Heaven” while claiming the black community “turned their back on me” when he needed it most. Immediately, fans began commenting on his post showing concern for his wellbeing, especially since hours earlier Tamar Braxton was rushed to the hospital for a potential suicide attempt.
Now, his Grammy-winning ex is speaking up on social media but it’s left mixed messages with his worried fanbase. Taking to her Instagram, Mariah Carey shared a throwback showing her singing her 1990 hit “Vanishing” from her debut album.
The song is about two lovers with one pulling away with lyrics like, “Just a trace of your existence to grasp” and “You’re vanishing, Drifting away.” She didn’t mention Nick Cannon but it is an interesting song to post about hours after he scared fans with his “Heaven” message.
