It’s been a hot minute since we’ve heard from the ladies of Little Mix as a whole.

However, that dry spell has since been doused with new content.

Little Mix’s official Instagram account shared a carousel of showing Thirlwall, Edwards and Pinnock performing, attending award shows and the three women embracing in a hug.

None of the photos or videos featured Nelson, who infamously left the group in December 2020.

Pinnock shared the post to her Instagram Story over the weekend and captioned it, “11 years ago today we won the X factor. My sisters, I love and miss you ❤️.”

Thirlwall reposted Pinnock’s story to her own IG Story and added, “11 years ago fate stepped in and said It’s about to get wiiiiiiild lol and I am eternally grateful. Family 💖.”

And to really drive the point home, Edwards also shared the post to her own IG story and wrote, “My sisters forever & ever! I love you both so much! ❤️.”

As previously mentioned, Nelson infamously jumped ship from the group in 2020 citing mental health concerns.

In a December 14, 2021, post Nelson explained to fans her reason for quitting Little Mix.

She wrote, “The past nine years in Little Mix has been the most incredible time in my life. We have achieved things I never thought possible.  … The truth is recently being in the band has really taken a toll on my mental health. I find the constant pressure of being in a girl band and living up to expectations very hard.”

Nelson’s announcement continued, “There comes a time in life when we need to reinvest in taking care of ourselves rather than focusing on making other people happy and I feel like now is the time to begin that process.”

So after “much time and consideration and with a heavy heart” she announced her departure from Little Mix.

She added that she’d be embarking on a new chapter of her life, but she was unsure what that looked like.

However, by February 2021, she revealed she was embarking on a solo career.

Nelson has been outspoken about the mental toll being in the group took on her and how much better life has been since leaving Little Mix.

Jesy Nelson Admits She Was Miserable While In Little Mix

In a 2021 interview with Cosmopolitan UK, Nelson revealed that she felt “miserable” while being part of the quartet.

“I constantly compared myself to the others. Of course, a lot of that was in my head, but a lot of it was past trauma,” Nelson admitted. “Even recently, I was still getting compared to them. It’s horrible when you already don’t like something about yourself to then have thousands of people point it out. Now I feel like me. When I look back [at my time] in the band, I genuinely wasn’t me. I can’t believe how miserable I was.”

Her thoughts about being in Little Mix didn’t end there.

“I didn’t know that I could be this happy,” she also said. “I thought when I was in the group that it was just normal to feel that way. And because I’d felt like that for 10 years, I just thought, ‘This is life.’ Since I’ve left, I feel free. I don’t wake up with anxiety, thinking, ‘I’ve got to do a music video today, I need to starve myself.’ Or, ‘I need to go on an extreme diet so I can look like the other three.’ That was consuming me.”
