Jesy Nelson's In A New Relationship, Could This Spell Trouble For Career Relaunch?!

Jesy Nelson is a lady in love, like or lust.

All of this to say, the singer is in a brand-new relationship.

According to reports, Nelson is dating Zion Foster and they recently went public with their relationship.

Over the weekend, Nelson and Foster were spotted at WLYD, a hot spot in London. She couldn’t keep her hands or her lips off of him.

A source told The Sun, “The club was packed but Jesy and Zion only had eyes for each other. They may not have officially put a label on things but they couldn't keep their hands off each other. It was pretty clear they are both really into each other."

Nelson tried to keep a low-profile by keeping her sunglasses on in the club the entirety of the night and she kept the boozing to a minimum due to her busy schedule.

She’s currently in the process of revamping her solo career after a lackluster and pretty awful debut in early 2022.

“Jesy wanted a night out but also had to be strict with herself when it came to the drink," the source added. "The following day she was back in the dance studio rehearsing for her new music video."

Prior to their steamy night out, Nelson reportedly took her new boyfriend to Jamaica for a romantic holiday. The couple grew close over the summer.

As previously mentioned, Nelson is working on relaunching her solo career.

While she appears happy with Zion, we can’t help but wonder, could this new “distraction” spell trouble for her career.

You may recall that she was dating Harry James, the sole editor for the “Boyz” music video,” when she first launched her solo career.

“Boyz” caused major controversy and Nelson was accused of “blackfishing.”

Following a tidal wave of backlash from fans, the former Little Mix member cut ties with her music label, Polydor, and broke up with James.

Billie Eilish and Same Fender are part of the Polydor family.

The Blast recently reported on Nelson’s split with her label and James.

The label confirmed that they are no longer working with Jesy in a statement to Metro UK.

“Polydor have amicably parted ways with Jesy,’ the statement began. “We have enjoyed working with her and everyone at the label wishes her nothing but the best for the future.”

Music insiders revealed to The Sun that Jesy’s decision to split from Polydor was due to her wanting a fresh start.

“Jesy decided it was the right time for her to make a clean break,” the source explained. “She and the label have been going in different directions in recent months. And while there hasn’t been a fall-out, Jesy just felt it was better to start afresh now – while everyone was still friends.”

The source explained the British pop singer enjoyed her time with Polydor; however, she feels the she had different musical ideas than what Polydor was wanting.

“She now wants to be able to fully develop her own ideas as an individual artist,” the source revealed.

Jesy is determined to redeem herself and make her solo career work.
