Fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief after it was revealed that Ant Anstead and Christina Hall had settled their bitter fight over who would have full custody over their son Hudson. The TV presenter, right after, posted a picture looking satisfied while enjoying what looked like a fun night of barbeque with his boy.

Earlier in the year, things became quite tense between the former couple when the 43-year-old shook things up by alleging that the 3-year-old was not safe with his mother and demanded full legal custody. Not one to back down, Hall kicked back, and a long strenuous fight began with everyone else holding on with bated breath to see who would come out victorious.

Luckily, the duo decided to sheathe their swords and go back to parenting their little child peacefully. The car enthusiast shared an image of himself and his boy smiling hugely at the camera on his Instagram story. Tagging the fun picture "BBQ Night," the "Celebrity IOU Joyride" star held Hudson and grinned at him as the toddler laughed into the camera.

Being able to spend ample time with his son and seeing the huge smile on his face must have been why he was willing to let things go, as The Blast shared that trial dates had already been sent for March next year.

The estranged couple did not want to draw it out that long for the sake of their child because, according to documents obtained, they resolved to stick with the original agreement signed after their divorce in 2021.

The document made on November 18 was equally signed off by the Superior Court of California, Judge Lee Gabriel, which detailed that the ex-couple would continue to have joint legal and physical custody of Hudson. It also contained schedules for all the year's holidays with some exceptions.

It specified that for Thanksgiving, the 3-year-old would be with his dad on odd-numbered years and with his mother for even-numbered years from Wednesday before that holiday to the next Monday.

For Christmas — Anstead would get him on odd years 23rd to 25th alongside a week of vacation after the school session at the time, as long as the reality TV star was given a written note for the planned vacation on or before December 1 of that year — and vice versa.

Other holidays like Easter Sundays and the 4th of July would follow the same pattern — odd years for Hall and even years for Anstead — and vice versa. It also read that on Halloween, Hudson would be with his mum on odd years and his dad on even years.

Both camps refrained from releasing statements concerning the new agreement that led to the cancellation of future court appearances.

Not long ago, social media users accused Anstead of hypocrisy because of his decision to post Hudson's pictures when the boy's mother cannot do the same. The Blast reported that some followers seemed to have resolved to fight for Hall by slamming him every time he would upload an image.

One scenario was when Anstead showed an enjoyable playtime with his little one in a car made from boxes. The slides showed the progression from a regular box to a blue-colored automobile with the tot playing in it, looking incredibly happy. In the post's caption, he wrote:

"What started as a precious game with a simple cardboard box became us making a race car for Teddy, that soon became a race car for Hudzo."

He added that his son was clearly a car guy while listing the tools used to create the toy. Despite the cuteness of the image, users were a lot more interested in his ability to post when the boy's mother could not.

Some dropped comments like, "why do you get to post pictures, and his mother doesn't? Lost respect for you," "Weren't you the one who didn't want Cristina to post photos of your son? Clarify please," amongst others.
