Ant Anstead Enjoys 'Beautiful Weekend' With GF Renée Zellweger Amid Coparenting Drama

Ant Anstead is not letting his problems creep into quality time with his girlfriend.

Since getting divorced from his ex-wife Christina Haack, the star has been involved in an embittered battle concerning who would parent the son they share. Despite their recent drama, the car enthusiast still found time to spend with his special woman. 

Anstead met the famous actress in 2021 on the "Celebrity IOU Joyride" set and is still going strong a year later. Completely smitten, the actor cannot help but give a glimpse into their fairytale love.

One of those times in question happened recently when Anstead took to his Instagram page to post a picture of a heart-shaped cookie with the initials of the couple whose wedding they attended. 

The image also featured their names and table number on two classy white and gold cards. In the caption, "What a beautiful weekend wedding ? J&B x." It did not take long for fans to flood the comments section with supportive words for the couple.

One commenter, who has clearly been following the drama in Anstead's life, wrote, "Christina's loss Renee's gain." Another fan joked, "I wouldn't have been able to eat that cute biccie!!," to which the father-of-three replied, "I didn’t hesitate! Gone in seconds ? x."

While the post must have gotten everyone in their feelings, his followers will not easily forget something he posted recently, which his ex-wife saw and called him out on. 

As the battle between the former couple continued to rage, The Blast reported that it seemed to have been made worse when the "Wheeler Dealers" star promoted a parenting article that the "Christina on the Coast" host considered "Sloppy Journalism." 

The article in question was from "Psychology Today," which mentioned the ongoing custody battle over the only child the duo share, three-year-old Hudson. The mother-of-one did not hold back as she shared a screenshot of the publication and began the washdown by referring to it as "a poorly written article." 

The "Flip or Flop" co-star wrote, "Sloppy Journalism/Clickbait at its finest," and advised the author to "find a new narrative centered around facts, not the Instagram comment section." She also noted everywhere she was mentioned and countered each point with her responses. She also added,

"Toddlers & Tiaras. Leave me out of your propaganda. Hudson's Law?! Really? That is absurd. You don't know anything about my household. Hudson is MY son. I've always protected him and always will."

The HGTV star claimed that she never made her son film with her, while pointing to his father to do the same if he really cared. The 39-year-old asserted that she decided to take a step back for peace and her sanity concerning the narrative of who was a better "Instagram" parent. She concluded by writing, "Hudson doesn't need a "Hudson's Law" Hilary."

Regardless of the not-so-pleasant activities around him, the car enthusiast paid them no mind as he decided to treat the love of his life to a fancy meal. The Blast shared that the 43-year-old dined with his actress girlfriend and posted the pictures to prove it. 

After attending a Radford Motors event, the "World's Most Expensive Cars" host uploaded pictures of candles, wine-filled glasses, tulips, and cards bearing their names to his story. He wrote across the snap, "Now that was a lovely Evening."
