In the picture Anstead uploaded, fans are treated to a view of candles, a glass containing red wine, a bouquet of tulips, and two cards bearing his and Zellweger's names. The "For the Love of Cars" co-host hinted at the fun he had with his date by writing, "Now that was a lovely Evening [smiling face with hearts emoji]."

That Story is enough indication that Anstead is not letting his current legal battle with his ex-wife, Christina Haack, affect his love life. In case you missed it, the "Wheeler Dealers" co-host filed a motion for full custody of their son, Hudson London, because his ex was "exploiting" the three-year-old.

Although Anstead's ex has denied the allegations, she has since stopped posting their boy on social media platforms. The legal warfare seems to be the only thing binding the former couple, whose divorce was finalized in June 2021.

In fact, the duo have moved on romantically, with Christina marrying Joshua' Josh' Hall earlier this year. As for Anstead, he and Zellweger first crossed paths during filming for the former's Discovery+ show, "Celebrity IOU: Joyride."

PEOPLE confirmed that the duo had started dating around the time that Anstead's divorce proceedings got finalized. By September 2021, their relationship became Instagram official, with the 43-year-old sharing a sweet monochromatic photo of himself and the "Judy" actress smiling for the camera.

He has continued to share the occasional glimpse into their romance while his award-winning girlfriend maintains a low profile on social media. Speaking on the nature of his relationship with Zellweger, Anstead said:

"Renée and my relationship is something that's really private. It's something I'm not really willing to talk too much about. It's really early in our relationship, and I don't want to put any pressure on that."

Although the car builder planned to spend the Christmas holidays with his partner, the photos he uploaded on social media indicated that those plans had gone awry.

Despite that snag, the father-of-three used a unique ornament attached to a festive tree to honor his love. The ornament featured a red car with two smiley-faced cartoon people in the window — one with the name "Ant" and the other with "Renée."

By January 2022, Zellweger had met all of her beau's three kids, including his daughter, Amelie, and son, Archie, who both live in England with their mother — Anstead's first wife, Louise Storey.

The "World's Greatest Cars" presenter later divulged that his daughter had gotten along with his girlfriend, claiming that the pair "really hit it off. Just as two girls." Their plans for the future as regards marriage and having more kids remains largely unknown to the public.

The Blast reported that earlier this month, Christina was done with the ongoing drama between her and her second ex-husband. To that end, the mother-of-two took to her Instagram to confide in her 1.8 million followers. Along with a car selfie that showed her wearing oversized sunglasses, the real estate investor began:

"I am mentally exhausted over the recent false accusations against me. Hudson’s father has made attempts to turn my family, friends, and fans against me through manipulation tactics and false information."

Seeing the "great impact" that Anstead's games and accusations had on her and her family, Christina decided that she would "no longer feature Hudson on Instagram, my tv shows, or any social platforms until he is old enough to make this decision for himself." The 39-year-old further explained her decision, writing:

"I have always been fine not having Hudson appear on public platforms and have made that clear. My only reason for wanting him to appear on my shows has always been to participate in the fun activities/outings with our family/siblings."

Unfortunately, Anstead misunderstood her intention, choosing instead to use her Instagram posts to rate her parenting skills as it was the only access he had to her life. Even though she limited the comments on the post, Christina still received support from her colleagues and fans.
