Tori Spelling's Husband Dean McDermott Is 'Excited' About The Holidays With His Family

Fans can expect to see Dean McDermott and Tori Spelling release a Christmas family card this year! Spelling and the American actor got married in 2006, and they currently have five kids from the marriage. 

For months, the ongoing rumor was that the couple secretly pulled the plug on their marriage. Speculations began when the pair were spotted without their wedding ring, and last year, the actor didn’t feature in the Christmas family portrait. 

However, McDermott has broken his silence about the rumors concerning his marriage while noting that he is looking forward to spending the holidays with his family.

In an interview with U.S Sun, the cookbook author explained the current status of his relationship. He said: "Everything is amazing. Everything's great. We're having a lot of fun.” He noted his excitement for the festive season, saying, ”We're loving the cold weather and then getting ready for the craziness of Thanksgiving and Christmas...I'm excited.”

The “Chopped Canada” host also revealed plans he and Spellings decided to execute this holiday. “We live in a cul-de-sac and this year, we're gonna do a big potluck with all our neighbors. So really looking forward to that.“

Again, he jokingly emphasized that he is still happily married, saying, ”I'm sorry I'm off the market, ladies. I'm so sorry.” With the chef anticipating spending quality time with his family this holiday, fans would likely see him in this year’s Christmas family portrait.

Fans may recall that last year, The Blast reported that the “Open Range” actor wasn’t seen in the family holiday portrait, making fans assume that the 55-year-old was literally out of the family.

In the snaps, the “Stori Telling” author shared she, alongside her five kids, was dressed casually and all smiles at a farm. Also pictured were a chicken, two goats, and a happy spotted pig, yet the head of the family was nowhere in sight. Spelling explained in the caption that it was a winter wonderland at her house and thanked the printing website for bringing her “happy family to life on my favorite holiday card yet.”

The TV personality pointed out that her favorite McDermott-free card is the official one her friends and family will receive, adding the hashtag “#familyiseverything.” An internet user stirred the pot by commenting that McDermott must be working out of town and couldn’t make it for the annual Christmas picture, with a winking and eye-roll emoji.

The “Scary Movie 2” actress responded to this comment, writing, “Fact: @imdeanmcdermott was filming his new feature film in Canada,” insinuating that his absence was unintentional. However, some fans were delighted that the father-of-5 was absent. A fan wrote, “Bye Dean!?? Thank you for giving Tori beautiful kiddos.?.” Another noted, “I love these they came out beautiful.”

More signs of the couple’s alleged separation came when the actress skillfully avoided answering questions about her husband. At The Wendy Williams Show,” Whitney Cummings, her pen pal, and fill-in host questioned the actress about her marital life. The 46-year-old mom, who was taken aback by this question, provided no suitable answer.

Last month, speculations arose that the “Due South” actor and his ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace had gotten back together. As we previously reported, the former couple had a photo shoot together when it was unclear if the 55-year-old actor and the “BH90210” alum were still together. 

In the photo update, the “Gourmet Dad” author sported a buzzed head and a black t-shirt while the singer-songwriter wore her long blonde locks down alongside a black tank top. The “Tori & Dean” star captioned the photo, “Reunited?? #Ex’s&Uh-ohs.”

Also, his ex-wife shared a similar-looking photo, but in it, she placed her head lovingly on McDermott’s shoulder.

“Reunited?❤️” she captioned the post before tagging McDermott and Spelling.

Neither McDermott nor the model provided further information about the random photoshoot, but it could be that they were working on some project together.
