'DWTS' Fans Mock Tyra Banks AGAIN For This Awkward Moment On Live TV

Tyra Banks (“America’s Next Top Model”) and Alfonso Ribeiro (“The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”) are currently co-hosting the new season of “Dancing with the Stars”.

Over the last few seasons, fans of the reality competition show were not happy with the way Tyra Banks hosted, so when the show announced Ribeiro would be joining Banks, they were relieved. However, Banks is still getting plenty of air time, and fans are not happy about her continuous mistakes.

Most recently, she had an extremely awkward moment on live television, which fans are still making fun of days later.

On Monday's episode of "Dancing With the Stars," the judges joked about how both Artem Chigvintsev and Val Chmerkovskiy had their shirts off during their dances, prompting Derek Hough to joke about taking his shirt off too, which he eventually did.

Alfono Riberio then joked about how he will not be taking his shirt off and sent the camera back to Tyra Banks to switch topics. Tyra then continued with the joke, which led to an awkward moment and silence from the audience.

The video is still being shared across social media days after the show aired on Monday, and fans are calling for her to get a new job (again).

"Not a single person laughed….the awkward silence makes it so much worse ?," one fan commented on the video.

Another fan said, "what was that?? ?." While a third chimed in, "Why hasn’t she been fired yet ?"

On the October 3, 2022, episode of the “Dancing With the Stars”, host Tyra Banks gave a shout-out to Charli D’Amelio’s friends who were supporting her and sitting in the audience — including D’Amelio’s boyfriend, musician Landon Barker.

Barker, 19, is the son of Blink-182 drummer and Kourtney Kardashian’s husband, Travis Barker. But, when Banks introduced Barker, she called him “Logan” by mistake.

“Charli’s friends Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker, and Logan Barker are here,” Banks said. “I know you guys are very proud right now.”

Fans were quick to comment on Banks’s mistake, taking to social media to call her out. So, during the following week’s episode, Banks addressed the name mistake to D’Amelio after her dance on Disney+ Night — although, she once again, made the mistake.

“I called your boyfriend Landon Barker and his name is Logan,” Banks said during the live show. But then, D’Amelio corrected her, saying that she messed up Barker’s name again. “Okay, I just said it backwards again,” Banks added. “What is wrong with me with this? Why can’t I get this right? They said it in my ear last week, I got it wrong. Now that I’m reading it and I’m getting it wrong.”

This was not Banks’ only mistake over the last few seasons of her hosting “Dancing With the Stars,” causing fans of the show to get angry.

At this time, there is no word on if ABC will fire Tyra Banks or if she will be back to host another season of “Dancing With the Stars.”
