It seems trouble is brewing as "Jersey Shore" cast member Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola blocked fellow cast member Nicole 'Snooki' Polizziunexpectedly on social media, leaving 'Snooki' confused.
The duo starred together on MTV's hit television series, "Jersey Shore", and although 'Snooki' thought they were on good terms, it seems Sammi thinks otherwise.
"Jersey Shore"'s Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi and Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola Are Not On Good Terms
In 2009, MTV's "Jersey Shore" took over as Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi, DJ Pauly D, Jenni 'JWOWW' Farley, Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino, Angelina Pivarnick, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Vinny Guadagnino, and Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola stayed in a beach house together on the Jersey Shore -- all meeting for the first time. The series went on for six seasons and is currently on season five of the spin-off, "Jersey Shore Family Vacation".
Although there has been drama over the years between all of the cast members, at the end of the day, they look at one another as family -- well, at least they thought they did.
'Snooki' recently went to message fellow "Jersey Shore" star, Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola on Instagram about the current MTV show, when she realized she blocked her — and she's not sure why.
"I went to go message her a while ago and she blocked me," 'Snooki' told E! News. "I don't know what I did."
"It's unfortunate because we would love for her to come back," she continued. "She's a part of the show. I feel like it's not full unless all of us are there. It's sad."
Is Sammi 'Sweetheart' Officially Done With the "Jersey Shore" Family?
In 2018, Sammi came out and said she would not be joining "Jersey Shore Family Vacation" because she has grown up. "I am not the same as I was when I was 22. At 31, I am currently extremely happy in every aspect of my life and want to avoid potentially toxic situations," she wrote on Instagram.
Although Sammi said she was done with the reality television part of her life, 'Snooki' continued to try and meet up and reconcile anyway. However, Sammi is standing her ground. "We tried to get her back, like, two years ago, all of us texting her saying, 'Come for one dinner. Why not?'" Polizzi added. "And she's just always like, 'No, I'll never do that show again.' We didn't want to push it."
After seeing what the "Jersey Shore" star went through on television, it is understandable as to why she wants to close that chapter of her life. She dated Ronnie Ortiz-Magro on and off-again for eight years during "Jersey Shore", and things did not go well. Many often look at the relationship as abusive and toxic.
"Once we left the shore house, me and Sam decided we were going to take the next step — we moved in with each other," Ronnie Ortiz-Magro said. "And we were getting towards that stage where it was like, I either have to s--- or get off the pot."
He continued, "She gave me a timeline. She was like, I want to get married in six months — and I'm still trying to figure my life out. I got cold feet. I wanted to do the right thing, but there was a part of me that was like, 'I'm not going to do the right thing.' So I didn't do it. I ended up cheating, she found out. I blew it. It's over."
"Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on MTV.
