Actors Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley, known for their portrayal as Augustus Waters and Hazel Grace Lancaster, recently shared pictures of themselves on an intimate dinner date. The duo was also co-stars in the 2014 “Divergent” movie as well as the two sequels.
Elgort started dating his girlfriend, Violetta Komyshan, in high school in 2012, and while an insider described their current relationship as “complicated,” the duo are yet to announce their split. Woodley, on her part, recently called it quits with her NFL ex-boyfriend, Aaron Rodgers, after the duo attempted to revive their relationship.
Despite being friends from their days in “The Fault in Our Stars,” Elgort and Woodley seem to be getting closer. The 28-year-old recently posted a picture of both of them in Italy on what looked like a dinner date.

Woodley and Elgort, former “Fault in Our Stars” lead actors, were recently seen in an Italian restaurant looking cozy on a possible dinner date. The “Baby Driver actor posted a picture of both of them on his Instagram page with the caption, “It’s the time of the season for loooovvingg.”
The picture with Woodley is just one of the many pictures the 28-year-old posted on Wednesday. In the photo, the former co-stars had wide grins on their faces, and the actor had his arm around the 30-year-old.
They seemed to be having some glasses of wine which were on the table in the photo, as well as a plate of Parmesan cheese and an appetizer. The table also had a digital camera displayed on top. Elgort had on a white button-down shirt while Woodley wore a striped button-down shirt.

In the same post, the “West Side Story” actor shared a picture of him and Woodley in a more private setting. Their seating position also changed to being across from each other. The 30-year-old was the only one shown in the picture and rocked a gray T-shirt with a messy bun and no makeup look.
Fans of the celebrities with knowledge of their previous roles in “The Fault in Our Stars” took to the comment section to ask if the duo were dating in real life. Statements like “Ownnnnn the romance of the fault in our stars is not over” and “This brought back so many memories, love to see you two” filled the comment section.
A fan also wrote, “Stoppp it you making my inner child come out seeing you with Shailene again. The fault in our stars will never leave me.” “I’m crying, August & Hazel Grace,” Another commented. “Ok, please tell me they’re together,” someone pleaded.

Besides his most recent post, Elgort shared a picture of himself and Woodley recreating an iconic scene in “Dirty Dancing.” The photo showed the 28-year-old holding Woodley high up in the air with the caption “Clean dancing w Shai.”
The “Divergent” star also shared videos of the duo’s behind-the-scenes attempt to recreate Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze’s iconic moment in the movie. She explained that to perfect the move, they had to try several times before finally nailing it.
The duo first acted alongside each other in the “The Fault in Our Stars” movie in 2014 and have remained friends since then. Woodley and Elgort also acted together in 2014, however, as brother and sister. They were in “Divergent” together and the film’s two sequels.

Elgort and his longtime girlfriend, Komyshan, met and started seeing each other romantically in 2012 while in high school. They celebrated Komyshan’s birthday together in January; however, an insider claimed that their relationship was complicated at the time and the couple were “together but not.”
The duo first sparked breakup rumors over a year ago when the ballerina took down pictures of Elgort from her Instagram. The couple, however, dispelled the rumors after the 28-year-old brought her to the “West Side Story” premiere in November 2021.
Breakup rumors circulated once again last month when the actor was seen with an unknown woman while in Italy. The duo was photographed making out while Elgort had his hand on her rear. They went for a swim shortly, and not long after, another mystery woman joined them.
