The Wilsons are in a celebratory mood, including the matriarch of the family, Ciara, who recently acclaimed her husband, Russell Wilson, on his latest achievement.
It is worth knowing that Russell's team, the National Football League's Denver Broncos, recently unveiled their captains for the year, and he was fortunately among the listed. The NFL group announced the news on Instagram with a series of pictures of the new captains alongside a message indicating the decision was made by the overall votes of team members.
Ciara Wilson Says 'Go Baby' In Acknowledgement Of Husband, Russell's New Captainship Role
"Our 2022 Denver Broncos captains, as voted by the team! [star emoji," the post's caption read, and attached to it were five orange and blue-themed snaps representing the club's colors. In the first snap, Russell was captured wearing his number three sportswear, holding a football, and posing with his knees slightly bent, like he was about to throw the ball.
There were two other orange polaroid shots of him on the same image while his name was included on the post, alongside his signature. The following pictures showed the other four captains with their signatures and donning their respective jerseys. They included Justin Simmons, Courtland Sutton, Bradley Chubb, and Brandon McManus.
Fans could not help but congratulate the new captains on the accomplishment with commending remarks, and several noted that Russell made a record as that was his first year. Others expressed excitement for the selection, which they believed was not wrongly done in any way and would reflect on the new season.
Not long after, Ciara shared the same post on her Instagram Story with words of praise for her husband that read, "Go, Baby! Proud of you 3." She also tagged the NFL franchise and Russell on the update. You may recall that the NFL quarterback was once part of NFL's Seattle Seahawks before transferring to the Broncos earlier this year.
Although the change may have been significant for his career, it also affected his family as they had to relocate to Denver with him. Ciara opened up about the move to James Corden on "The Late Late Show with James Corden," which The Blast reported, noting how the music star's career was also affected.
Coping with Denver's altitude had its toll on her dance rehearsals, as she could literally feel it even during the breaks of the session. She also compared climbing up the steps to working out for an hour but believed there was a brighter side to the hurdles associated with the region.
The multifaceted artist explained, "There's an advantage to that as well, you know. Training there for a good bit, then you're going to be ready for the opponents." She went on, "You're going to be ready for when it's time to hit the stage. I had extra wind. I was like, 'Let's go.'"
Corden wondered if her husband shared the same opinion, but Ciara only expressed her beliefs, maintaining that she had a competitive streak and the altitude strengthened her stamina.

She pointed out, "You're conditioning at an abnormal attitude, so you're like really extra – you have strong endurance. Like you're really ready." Transferring to the Broncos was no doubt an excellent change for the Wilsons as they celebrated with Russell and shared the news on social media to fans worldwide, who congratulated them with adoring remarks.
The Sports Illustrated Magazine Star Shares Cute Instagram Video Of Amusing Moment With Husband
Ciara and her loving husband are never ashamed of showing off their moments together on social media, and they once teased fans with a hilarious Instagram video featuring themselves. As The Blast reported, the clip on the Texas-born's feed showed her trying to capture the right angle of herself via a mirror in possibly a store.
Her gorgeous physique was clad in a sexy, revealing mini dress with several colors that complemented her curves. In addition, she flattered her look with sunshades and black strap heels. In the background, Russell could be heard telling her to get a move on as they had to leave. And although she agreed with him, she still kept on eyeing her figure in the mirror.
He later lost his patience with her, and as she captured a shot of her backside, he said, "Bring yo' a**." She then captioned the post, "When he rushing you…But you know that shot worth it."
