Tristan Thompson Can't Escape Child Support, Finally Bucks Up!

Maralee Nichols has had enough of Tristan Thompson dodging her request for child support.

It’s time to BUCK UP BUTTERCUP, and that is what the NBA player finally did.

Thompson secretly fathered a child with fitness influencer, Nichols, back in March 2021. She gave birth to a baby boy on December 1, 2021.

In June 2021, Nichols filed a paternity lawsuit against Thompson claiming he was the father of her unborn child. She demanded child support in the lawsuit.

He vehemently denied the claims and retaliated with a lawsuit of his own which was filed in Texas.

However, a judge called his bluff and threw his lawsuit out.

After taking a paternity test, the results showed that the basketball player WAS the father. At the time he and Nichols conceived the child, Thompson was in an exclusive relationship with Khloe Kardashian.

What’s more, during their relationship at the time of his affair, the former couple was planning to expand their family-of-three to four. Khloe and Tristan share a four-year-old daughter named True.

Nichols named their baby boy Theo and claims Thompson has never met the child nor has he paid a dime in child support.

New reports now claim the serial cheater has paid and been paying child support for his eight-month-old son.

Page Six learned the NBA free agent “is paying, and has paid, child support to Ms. Nichols retroactive to the date she delivered the child."

This news came in the form of a legal letter from Thompson’s attorney.

What’s interesting is that earlier this year, Nichols’ rep bashed the athlete for not paying a dime in support.

“Despite news reports stating otherwise, Tristan Thompson has done nothing to support his son,” Nichols’ rep, Harvey Englander, said in a statement to Page Six. “He has not made any attempt to meet their son nor has he provided any financial assistance.”

This statement was made after a report came out finding that Thompson could be paying up to $40k in child support to each of his baby mommas: Khloe, Nichols and Jordan Craig.

Given the new information regarding Thompson finally paying up, it still seems like he has no interest in meeting his third child and second son.

A source revealed the NBA star has yet to make any attempt to bond with Theo.

“Tristan has still made no attempt to meet his 8-month-old son, Theo,” the insider revealed. “It was not until recently that Tristan started paying child support.”

Thompson and Khloe recently welcomed their second child together via surrogate. As previously mentioned, before the paternity scandal broke, he and the Good American co-founder were planning to expand their family.

Their child was conceived in November 2021 right before Nichols gave birth.

Khloe and her ex welcomed their baby boy earlier this month.

Not much more is known about the newborn baby and whether or not Thompson has been a present parent.

Khloe has yet to reveal her little one’s name or share photos on social media.
