Miley Cyrus & Mom Tish Support Pamela Anderson's Broadway Show

Pamela Anderson is still smashing Broadway in the theater reboot of the 1975 drama, "Chicago" which is currently still showing.

For Sunday's viewing of "Chicago," Anderson had some special friends in the audience, Miley Cyrus and her mom Tish and they had sweet words for her performance.

For the May 15 show, Miley and Tish didn't fail to turn heads as they showed up to support their good pal. The "Wrecking Ball" songstress definitely stole the spotlight when she shone in a stunning gold ensemble.

It was an all-gold affair consisting of a mini animal print silk dress and matching waist wrap of the same pattern but in a brighter shade. Miley rocked a bright blonde shaggy bob haircut and donned a pair of sky-high gold slipper heels.

She kept her jewelry accessories to a bare minimum while flaunting her numerous inkings as she struck several poses for the paparazzi.

On the other hand, Tish opted for an all-black look consisting of sequined pants paired with a matching crop top that featured a cut-out in the middle. She finished off the look with a pair of open-toe heels, keeping the jewelry also to a minimum.

The mother-daughter duo was seen posing with the star of the day, Anderson, who donned a stunning black strapless floor-length gown with matching black heels.

In the accompanying caption, Miley showed love to the Canadian model, writing, "Whatever happened to class? @pamelaanderson as Roxie in Chicago is fabulous! Go see her shine while you still can ?."

As The Blast previously reported, Anderson opened up about the joy of making her debut on Broadway after years of taking over the runway and television screens.

In an interview, the "Barb Wire" actress explained why she agreed to participate in theater and snag the role of Roxie.

"It’s good timing,” she said. “My kids are grown. My kids are my biggest cheerleaders. I feel like it’s time. I need a challenge. I needed to do something. I needed this. I’ve been kind of gone for a while, you know, and I’m back.”

Although it was her first time on Broadway, Anderson assured fans that she harbored no fears about her performance. In her words, "You don’t know what you’re capable of until you try it. So that’s what I’m really curious about is what can I actually do? Because I kind of haven’t applied myself to much in my life, except for my children."

As for her role as Roxie Hart, an aspiring actress who gets into trouble with the law after murdering a man she was having an affair with, Anderson gushed, saying it was "fantastic."

She raved about feeling so "blessed and lucky" to be given such a wonderful role and promised to do her absolute best.

"It’s just unbelievable that anyone even offered me this kind of role, so I’m gonna give it all I have. I’m not gonna let myself down; I’m not gonna let my family down," Anderson promised.

Miley and Tish's appearance at Anderson's Broadway play comes a month after her mother and father Billy Ray Cyrus filed for divorce for the third time after 28 years of marriage.

This time, Tish was responsible for filing for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences and asking for an equitable division of assets.

In a statement, the now-estranged couple their decision to go their separate ways, saying, "It is after 30 years, five amazing children and a lifetime of memories, we have decided to go our separate ways — not with sadness, but with love in our hearts. We have grown up together, raised a family we can be so proud of, and it is now time to create our own paths.

Following the news of her parents' divorce, a source close to the "Hannah Montana" star and her siblings shared that the kids just want what's best for Tish and Billy even though it means a separation.

The insider explained that Miley and her four siblings have been expecting their parents to split for years as they haven't been living together and no longer make each happy.

The source explained, “When Miley shot to fame, Tish and Billy’s marriage was always more of a business relationship than an actual marriage. The romance and passion were gone long ago, and they seemingly stayed together for the sake of their children. But they do not need to raise any of them anymore.”
