Congratulations are in order for American rapper Post Malone as he is reportedly expecting his first child with his longtime girlfriend ahead of the release of his fourth studio album.
The widely acclaimed star released his debut studio album "Stoney" in 2016, the second album "Beerbongs & Bentleys" in 2018, and the third album "Hollywood's Bleeding" in 2019.
As excited as fans and Malone are for the fourth album, being a dad is a significant milestone for the music star, which he enthusiastically raved about and anticipated.
Post Malone Is Thrilled About Being A Dad And Expecting New Album
The soon-to-be dad told TMZ, "I'm excited for this next chapter of my life; I'm the happiest I've ever been, and for since I could remember, I was sad."
He added, "Time to take care of my body and my family and friends, and spread as much love as we can every day."
Informants familiar with the rap star revealed that he and his girlfriend celebrated the unborn baby with a private party for close friends and family in Southern California over the weekend.
The baby will be Malone's first, which is a pretty big deal. In addition, his fourth studio album, "Twelve Carat Toothache," will be dropping next month, making double good tidings for the celebrity.
The "Motley Crew" vocalist's girlfriend is not popularly known as she has not spent any time in the limelight. Nevertheless, she and her beau have been happily building their private relationship, soon becoming a family.
As the outlet shared, the past few months have been pretty entertaining for Malone. He performed at a Coachella party with his pal and famous rapper Quavo while also dining at some cool spots in L.A.
Furthermore, he made headlines for being nice to an autistic fan who was outdoors celebrating his 21st birthday.
The fan's mother revealed that speaking was not an easy feat for her son, and strangers usually got impatient with him. However, Malone was not like that as he sweetly interacted with the celebrant.
Speaking of the "Rockstar" rapper's fourth studio album, Pitchfork detailed that the release date was set for June 3.
The entire collection will stretch for 45 minutes and features "One Right Now," his single with the Weeknd.
As for the story behind the record, Malone said that the songs "speak more to how [he's] feeling at the moment: the ups and downs and the disarray and the bipolar aspect of being an artist in the mainstream."
Malone did not leave his fans in the dark about his latest compilation as he recently promoted the new tracks on an Instagram Live session.
The piece included collaborations with several artists like Roddy Ricch, Doja Cat, Kid Laroi, and Fleet Foxes' Robin Pecknold. It should be noted that the pop artist is a big fan of Fleet Foxes.
The Six-Time Grammy Nominee Got Sued By Ex-Girlfriend's Lawyers Over Breakup Settlement
Malone was previously in a three-year-long relationship with Ashlen Diaz, but things got legally nasty following their split in 2018.
As The Blast reported, Diaz's legal team, Martorell Law in Los Angeles, negotiated a settlement between the former couple as they claimed that they were hired by the "Circles" star's ex-girlfriend after their breakup.
Around the same time, the outlet obtained some legal documents which showed that the law firm had entered into a "contingency fee" agreement with Diaz to "represent her in a civil action" against her ex-partner.
This meant the firm would get a portion of any payment settled with Malone, determined by the time it took to conclude the case.
The complaint further revealed no specific allegations, including no explicit reason behind Diaz's decision that the "Sunflower" singer deserved to give her a financial settlement.
However, her lawyer stated in the documents that they assisted her with "researching alimony law…investigating facts of the claim, and reviewing substantial evidence and data."
The collaboration between Diaz and the legal team evidently began in 2019, after the split, and they reached out to Malone's lawyers about the case.
Martorell claimed in the document that the "Psycho" singer communicated with his ex-girlfriend and "proposed, coerced and pressured her to discharge [the lawyers] so that he could settle [the case] alone and gain the benefit of her not having the assistance of [her lawyers]."
The filings then revealed that he settled the case with $350,000, but the lawyers demanded their percentage of the settlement after allegedly being cut out of the deal.
