Doja Cat has been anything but greedy when discussing her go-to Taco Bell order!

She championed the restaurant's signature Mexican Pizza menu item, and like many die-hard Taco Bell devotees, was disappointed when the chain removed the Mexican Pizza from their menu.

According to Newsweek, Doja revealed the finished product in a TikTok after taking fans through the creative process via an Instagram Live.

She shared, "I made a song about Mexican Pizza because I love it so much, I wish Taco Bell didn't discontinue it a year ago and this lead me to this monstrosity of a beat that I just made."

The process of bringing the Mexican Pizza back to the Taco Bell menu has had its ups and downs for the "Say So" singer.

Doja Cat was candid about having a few qualms with her contractual obligations through the campaign.

Doja, who covered Hole's 1998 hit "Celebrity Skin" in the Super Bowl commercial announcing the  collaboration, shared "I got to do this f---in' Tik Tok and everybody keeps calling it a jingle, it's for Taco Bell. They want me to rap about Mexican Pizza so I just wanna give you a heads up before you see that s--t, just know, it's contractual. I know it's bad."

What Taco Bell's CEO Has To Say

There is still plenty of excitement floating around about the collaboration to balance out the contractual bits!

The CEO of Taco Bell, himself, is extremely on board with the collaboration.

According to Complex, Mark King was "Glad we could give fans what they crave and bring our classic Mexican Pizza back where it belongs."

Fans were craving the classic item so much, to the point where one fan created a Change.org petition for its return!

Krish Jagirdar, the petition's creator, had a personal connection to the Mexican Pizza, so the tangible proof that Taco Bell was aware of fan commentary was extremely important for Jagirdar.

"Like so many Indian Americans who grew up vegetarian, we had limited access to the 'fun' fast food, so Taco Bell became a bridge to belonging in American culture for many kids like me who grew up in immigrant households," Jagirdar shared, via Complex.

The removal of the Mexican Pizza two years ago from Taco Bell's menu was "especially devastating" for this reason, according to Jagirdar.

"...Fast forward to two years later and I found myself on a conference call with the Taco Bell team as they shared the news of the return of the Mexican Pizza," Jagirdar added, "showing that listening to their fans is clearly embedded in their DNA. It's one of the many reasons Taco Bell is more than just a fast food restaurant."
