While some people completely understand Pete Davidson’s appeal, there’s one person who is totally stumped by it.
Davidson’s boss and “Saturday Night Live” creator, Lorne Michaels, can’t wrap his head around the comedian’s appeal.
While speaking to Page Six at the “Hangmen” premiere if he knew Davidson’s secret sauce.
Lorne Michaels Weighs In On Pete’s Apeal

“You can answer that better than I can,” he quipped back. Michaels proceeded to shrug his shoulders when asked one more time about the actors popularity among Hollywood’s most beautiful women.
Davidson’s ex-fiancée Ariana Grande famously revealed what attracted her to the comedian.
The ex-couple got together in 2018, and that same year they got engaged and un-engaged.
While promoting her “Sweetner” album, she answered fan questions on Twitter.
Ariana Constantly Dropped Hints About Pete’s…Manhood

One fan asked how long Davidson is when referring to the song titled, “Pete.”
In a since deleted tweet, Ari responded, “like 10 inches…? Oh f**k…. I mean… Like a lil over a minute.”
In her music video for “Thank U, Next,” she writes about Davidson in her “Burn Book.”
She wrote, “HUUUUUUUUUUGE.”
And that’s when the term “Big D**k Energy” was born.
If those are enough subliminal messages about Davidson’s manhood, I don’t know what else is.

Earlier this year, when romance rumors were running wild about him and Kim Kardashian, the “King of Staten Island” actor was asked about his appeal.
The “Saturday Night Live” cast member previously opened up to about his “IT factor” which he describes as a “diamond in the trash.”
Pete Compared Himself To A “Diamond In The Trash”
During a comedy show, Davidson revealed his theory about why he’s so popular.
“There seems to be a curiosity about me, is what my friends tell me,” he said during his set at the 9th Annual Patrice O’Neal Comedy Benefit Concert at New York City Center in NYC on Tuesday, January 18. “I was trying to figure out how to explain myself to someone because I was doing an interview.”

Davidson compared himself to a discount DVD bin in a 7-Eleven where movies such as “Tropic Thunder,” “Shrek Ever After” and “Predator 2” live.
He made sure to note that “Tropic Thunder” is a “classic” that definitely “doesn’t belong in the trash.”
Davidson gave this analogy about his appeal, “I’m ‘Tropic Thunder.’ I’m the diamond in the trash. It’s a steal.”
According to Grande, he definitely had thunder, but it came from down under.
Even the comedian joked that his package was a “scientific wonder.”
The Blast previously reported on Davidson and Machine Gun Kelly’s IG Live on Calvin Klein’s Instagram account last year.

The BFFs started the IG Live out fully-clothed and discussed how they were preparing for a possible Calvin Klein photoshoot.
“I didn’t eat for like two weeks. I got a parasite. It’s still in my stomach. I have to go get it removed,” Davidson joked.
“This wasn’t really what I expected of the…” MGK said.
Davidson added, “I thought we’d be in our undies and stuff. You know?”
MGK suggested they “stuff it” so they appear bigger on a billboard.
As the video went on, Davidson and MGK slowly stripped down to their skivvies while striking different poses, and suggesting how to get the ‘downstairs’ ready for its closeup.
Pete Said His Privates Are A “Scientific Wonder”

“Obviously fluff up the boys, stuff a banana in there,” the comedian advised to the punk rocker.
The friends exchanged some hilarious banter while showing off their junk in Calvin Klein underwear.
The Staten Island native congratulated his friend saying, “I get it now, I get it now. Good for you, good for you dog.”
MGK suggested stuffing socks in his underwear to help out, Pete advised you can’t go into the photoshoot cold.
“You can’t just go in cold. I am a grower for sure. I’m not really a grower or a shower, it’s actually the same small and hard,” he joked. “It’s actually a scientific wonder.”
