Actress Liz Sheridanpassed away on Friday, April 15. She was 93 years old.

The beloved actress was best known for playing Jerry Seinfeld’s mother on “Seinfeld” and also had a reoccurring role on “ALF.” She appeared in several Broadway shows before she eventually passed away in New York City.

Her longtime friend and rep, Amanda Hendon, told Deadline that she passed away overnight in her sleep of natural causes. Many have been paying tribute to the beloved TV Mom, including her TV son, Jerry Seinfeld.

‘Seinfeld’ Stars Pay Tribute To Late TV Mom Liz Sheridan

Shortly after her rep announced her death, Jerry Seinfeld, who played her TV son, took to Twitter to express his condolences.

He tweeted, “Liz was always the sweetest, nicest TV mom a son could wish for. Every time she came on our show it was the coziest feeling for me. So lucky to have known her.”

Around 2 AM the following day, Jason Alexander, who plays George Costanza on the show, paid tribute.

He tweeted, “Oh my Lord, just learning of the passing of Liz Sheridan. She was as gracious and graceful a person and actress as you’ll ever meet. Fascinating life. Wonderful lady. Rest well. #RIPLizSheridan”

On Friday night, “Star Wars” actor Mark Hamill retweeted the news from Jerry Seinfeld.

“Loved her on #Seinfeld. Loved her on #ALF. Loved her in everything she did,” Mark wrote alongside a string of colorful heart emojis.

“You are a good dude,” one fan commented. “That's a very nice thing to take the time to do and say those nice words.”

Author Benjamin Dreyer expressed his condolences for a black-and-white snapshot of the late actress.

“Goodbye to wonderful Liz Sheridan,” he tweeted.

'ALF' Creator Pays Tribute To The Late TV Star

“ALF” creator Paul Fusco also released a statement regarding her passing.

He wrote, “Liz Sheridan was funny. She gave her all to every scene and rose to every comedic challenge. She was a charming, sweet, wonderfully funny woman. I had the pleasure to share many laughs with her both on & off-screen. I was incredibly lucky to have her on team ALF.”
