When thinking of celebs with a super sunny demeanor it's hard not to think of Heather Rae El Moussa!

The newlywed Mrs. El Moussa charmed audiences on Netflix's breakout hit "Selling Sunset," a reality show chronicling the glitzy and glamorous side of the real estate market in Los Angeles.

El Moussa has had PLENTY to celebrate: she tied the knot with her fiancé, fellow reality TV titan "Flip Or Flop's" Tarek El Moussa, and she is blissfully enjoying life as a new stepmom to El Moussa's children, a role she has happily and fully embraced.

Unfortunately the normally verbose "Selling Sunset" star has had to navigate her new life a little quieter lately: El Moussa recently had surgery on her vocal chords, and is facing a lengthy recovery period.

Vocal rest has understandably forced El Moussa to get comfortable with texting for the foreseeable future, a practice she isn't so fond of.

El Moussa shared another update via Instagram yesterday, wherein she gave the thumbs down to staying silent!

Many of us are likely familiar with the feeling of having to miss out on our lives happening around us while having to take a break of some kind, and El Moussa is no exception: She said, "Your girl has major FOMO right now!"

Vocal rest is definitely her least favorite part of recovery.

"You guys know, I'm naturally a really social person! I love talking, I'm super expressive and my job is literally on TV!"

El Moussa's fear of missing out hasn't stopped her from remembering to look on the bright side of life during recovery.

"Being on complete vocal rest for 2 weeks now is not ideal for me... but I always try to find the positive in any situation, so I'm determined to make the most of it by using this time for personal development," she detailed, as per People Magazine.

Time will tell if any of El Moussa's co-stars on "Selling Sunset" have embarked on their own personal development journeys between seasons four and five!

The ladies of "Selling Sunset" have experienced their fair share of drama since filming wrapped on season four.

El Moussa's fellow bubbly co-worker Chrishell Stause embarked on a highly publicized relationship with the Oppenheim Group team leader Jason Oppenheim, (his brother Brett broke off from the group to start his own firm), but the pair later fizzled out.

Stause shared her side of the split last Winter in an Instagram post.

Her split with Oppenheim was preceded by the release of her memoir "Under Construction: Because Living My Best Life Took A Little Work" last February.
