Chrishell Stause Reveals Similarities Between Exes In Upcoming Memoir

In the past few years, "Selling Sunset" star Chrishell Stause has had quite the experience with men. She did her fans a solid by telling all about it in her upcoming memoir, "Under Construction."

According to PEOPLE, Stause detailed how her marriage to Justin Hartley was comparable to her relationship with Kep Motsepe. 

She used the term 'love bombed' to describe her experience with both men. They both manipulated her by showering her with excessive love and adoration.

"Dancing with the Stars" pro dancer Motsepe dated the actress a year after her divorce from Hartley in November 2019. The ex-couple were married for two years after dating for four years.

The "This Is Us" star unashamedly ended the marriage with Stause via a text message while the divorce was finally settled later in February 2021.

Hartley remarried about a year after their divorce was finalized, and he admitted to not having to force things in his new marriage in an interview with Haute Living.

Stause further wrote in her book that she didn't want to relive painful memories. She later admitted to herself that the experience with Hartley was a gift as she was in love with him. She wrote:

"When someone is in love, it's hard to convince that person that the relationship isn't right. Even if he's waving red flags like a bullfighter to everyone around you, you're the girl striding right up to him."

The author didn't mention Motsepe's name specifically in the book, although she described him as a tall dancer.

Motsepe and Stause didn't date for long; they ended things after three months of romance. But despite their short time together, she compared him with Hartley, calling him a similar type.

After more than one romance with manipulative people, Stause admitted that she was still a work in progress when it came to love. 

In her soon-to-be-published memoir, which will be on shelves in February, she admitted to falling for the same type of guy [Motsepe] like her ex-husband, despite her previous experience.

She wrote, "Did I learn from my mistakes after Justin? Well, when it comes to love, I'm still a work in progress."

But in his case, she was able to see his actions clearly instead of making up excuses for his behavior. She broke things up and felt empowered after, unlike the usual self-pity she used to feel.

The 40-year-old now understands better how she deserves to be treated and loved after being in toxic relationships where she was hardly convinced how wrong such relationships were. 

Following her break up with "The Oppenheim Group's" Jason Oppenheim, Stause showed off her hot body in a post in December. She rocked a tiny two-piece leopard-print swimwear. 

The actress added a somewhat speculative caption which made us wonder if she would have babies this year. However, Oppenheim didn't share the same ideas regarding starting a family.

Despite the sad end of their relationship, the Netflix star continued regarding Oppenheim as her best friend and was sure their love wouldn't change. Although, she taunted him with her revealing post and caption.

As shared by The Blast, the "All My Children" actress never ceases to share her desire to have kids and her considering the option of freezing her eggs. 

We all know how much Stause wanted kids, as she had hinted at women not having as much time as men did when it came to starting a family.

Stause and Oppenheim dated for only six months which was pretty short for the level of connection the two seemed to have had.

The former couple was so in love that their sudden breakup was rather shocking. Her ex initially made the breakup known, but Stause shed more light on their split.

In a previous report by The Blast, the reality star revealed what really went on and why she didn't immediately speak up via an Instagram post. 

The real estate agent was very open about her other relationships, but she decided to keep quiet about this one because of how judgmental society would be. 

She admitted to feeling scared about knowing the relationship with Oppenheim may not end as successfully as society deemed fit. But she still saw their relationship as a success.

The couple had to end things because her ex-boyfriend disagreed with her decision to start a family. Stause has always been big on having kids.

At the end of the post, she thanked her ex for his honesty, and she appreciated her fans for being kind and supportive after their split.
