'Love Is Blind' Star Deepti Vampeti Reveals Gross Thing Shake Did During Filming!

We just can’t seem to shake “Love Is Blind” season 2 villain Abishek “Shake” Chatterjee.

The overly-confident and extremely shallow contestant on the Netflix show continues to make headlines and not for good reasons.

In the event you haven’t watched season 2, SPOILER ALERT.

Shake meets Deepti Vampeti, aka “Deeps,” in the pods and the two hit it off. He proposes and they are on track to get married four weeks after they get engaged.

Upon walking down the aisle and arriving to the altar, Deepti decided she does NOT want to marry Shake given his incessant negative comments about her physical appearance.

The reunion special was certainly a DOOZY for Shake, who was basically on a stranded island given none of his cast mates like him.

Viewers watched on in disgust and shock as Shake buried himself deeper and deeper into a hole during the reunion.

Now, Deepti is revealing some (not so) startling information about what happened with Shake prior to the reunion.

If you’ve watched all of season 2, including the reunion special, you know that Shake admitted he didn’t find anyone in the room attractive but Vanessa Lachey.

Vanessa is married to former 98 Degrees singer, Nick Lachey, and the couple host ‘LIB.’

Shake’s comment about Vanessa’s appearance during the reunion wasn’t the first time the veterinarian tried to put the moves on the actress.

According to Shake’s ex-fiancée, he hit on Vanessa during the couple’s reveal.

During a recent appearance on the “We Have the Receipts” podcast, hosted by ‘LIB’ season 1 star Lauren Speed, Deepti said, “Can I tell you, he was hitting on her [Vanessa] at the couples reveal.”

She went on to say, “It’s so disrespectful!”

But that’s not all she revealed.

Deepti further spilled the tea that Shake “made a lot of the other girls cry” while filming.

“They don’t show that, but I actually had to talk to him about that,” she explained. “And it was, like, a rocky step in our progression in the pods.”

During the reunion, Shake said, “Every woman here is beautiful. I think you’re all beautiful. I’m not attracted to all of you. Unfortunately, the only one I’m attracted to is Vanessa — and I wish I wasn’t,” he said while Nick’s face revealed pure surprise. “It’s nature, baby! We’re animals.”

Nick clapped back, “You treat animals. We’re human beings.”

This didn’t sit well with the veterinarian and led to an off-air feud with Shake hurling insults at Nick… to which he didn’t respond.

Taking to Instagram, Shake called out Nick but then quickly deleted it a short while later.

He wrote, “Reunion summed up in a photo. You put a doctor on the show… of course you were going to see some critical thinking. Speaking of which, @nicklachey you’re a massive twat for your comment dragging vets. You do realize that becoming a veterinarian [is] considerably more difficult than becoming a human doc right?”

He continued, “Also consider learning how to be an impartial host before the season 3 reunion airs. Sorry I didn’t play along with your narrative like the rest of these puppets.”

Shake closed his message, writing, “Say hi to @vanessalachey” for me.”

Like I said, neither Nick nor Vanessa indulged in his criticism.
