Everyone is addicted to “Love Is Blind,” even Kim Kardashian!
What Is ‘Love Is Blind’ About?
The premise of the Netflix show is a social experiment to test whether or not love is truly blind. Contestants are divided into groups: male and female. They then speed-date in “pods” where they can hear each other, but not see each other. Eventually, some of the couples form a strong emotional connection.
From there, they have the option of proposing to their partner. If their partner accepts their proposal, then they finally get to see each other and go on a week-long honeymoon in Mexico where they meet the other people that they may have connected with inside the pod.
They then return home for Chicago and have three weeks to plan a wedding, shop for dresses, and get everyone acquainted with each other’s friends and family before deciding to say “I Do” at the altar.
Two couples from the show’s first and second season have gotten married and there has yet to be a divorce, perhaps proving that there is something to developing an emotional bond with a partner before experiencing physical attraction.
The drama and the ongoing suspense of who is going to walk away at the altar is partially what drives the show’s ten-episode plotline and it has so many viewers hooked that a third season has already been confirmed. The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” reality star had a perfect way to describe it.
Kim Kardashian Is ‘Invested’ In ‘Love Is Blind’
Just wait til you see the reunion! 🤯

On Sunday, Kim took to Twitter to write, “Love is Blind 2 is everything!!!! I’m invested!”
Netflix replied, “Just wait til you see the reunion! 🤯”
However, it’s more than possible that Kim has already seen it, since it dropped last Friday… two days before her tweet. Fans had plenty of her reactions, with some fans commenting on her relationship with “Saturday Night Live” comedian, Pete Davidson, and others saying that the show just wasn’t as good as its first season.
“Unfortunately this season is not as good as the first season,” one user commented. “All of the couples were problematic. I don't know if there will be another couple as awesome as Cameron and Lauren.”
“Every season will be different that doesn’t mean the season ain’t good,” another user replied. “Season 1 can’t be like season 2 bcs they’re different people. Please stop complaining about the show just don’t watch.”
“You & Pete are a perfect match!” another shared. “And it will get even better! Yes! Love is blind! Kim, Just trust more and throw caution to the wind!”
“I need another reunion!” said another. “I still have questions!!”

“Kim, you should watch Love is Blind Brazil!!!!” another user commented. “It has way more drama and real love.”
Due to the response to the show’s first season, there is a “Love Is Blind Brazil” and a “Love Is Blind Japan” to show the different wedding traditions in different cultures.
Although none of the cast commented on the Twitter post itself, plenty of the season 2 cast shared their reactions in their Instagram Stories!
'Love Is Blind' Cast Reacts To Kim Kardashian's Tweet!
Jarrette Jones, who married Iyanna McNeely on the show without question, shared a screenshot of the tweet that Kim herself shared in her own Instagram Stories.
Iyanna also shared a screenshot of her tweet, writing a simple "Umm..."
Abishek Chatterjee, best known as Shake, has joked about playing the "villain" during the reunion special for doubling down on comments that, despite going through this experiment, physical attraction still mattered to him.
It wasn't so much that as much as the "disrespectful" comments that he made about his fiancée, Deepti Vempati, that turned fans against him, especially when Natalie Lee said that he got a "good edit."
Love him or hate him, Shake responded to Kim's tweet with "Love You Too Boo."
Kyle Abrams seemed to poke fun at Netflix's response, writing, "Yeah Kim...just wait til you see the reunion." To put it simply, even hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey get in on the drama.
Nick Thompson said "I Do" to Danielle Ruhl at the altar, which wasn't too much of a surprise to fans, since Nick had been the first one to propose on the show. Nick shared a screenshot of Kim's tweet with the message "Well this is fun!"
Danielle seemed to have an equally shocked reaction, writing, "This is wild."
Mallory Zapata may have had arguably the best reaction to Kim's tweet, writing, "OMFG!!!! How is this real life?! I love @kimkardashian."
Perhaps maybe Kim Kardashian could host the next reunion special?
