“Jeopardy!” fans know a lot of things about Amy Schneider.
Amy took the “Jeopardy!” world by storm after she became the first openly trans champion to qualify for the Tournament of Champions. From there, she became the winningest-women in “Jeopardy!” history, claiming the title of the woman with the highest earnings and highest win streak. By the time her win streak ended in January 2022, Amy held the second-highest win streak in the game show’s history with 40 wins. She still lagged behind host Ken Jennings, who set a winning streak of 74 games won in a row back in 2004.
Since leaving “Jeopardy!”, Amy has revealed that she plans to buy a new house with her winnings and signed with CAA to write a book. What she hasn’t talked about was using some of those winnings to buy her girlfriend an engagement ring!
Who Is Amy Schneider’s Girlfriend… Wait… Fiancée?!
For various reasons, we didn't actually start dating until February 2021, but that time as friends was really valuable, and we both think we have a long future together. Finally, in March, we completed our family when we adopted a cat, Meep.

Although Genevieve likes to stay out of the spotlight, fans are still able to piece together some facts about her based on previous mentions of her through Amy’s various interviews and Twitter posts. Amy is 43 years old and Genevieve is 25, so there is an age gap of roughly 18 years between them.
In a long Twitter thread, Amy revealed that they met through a friend of Amy's. Although they met in the summer of 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, they did not start dating officially until February 2021.
“In the summer of 2020, my friend was hanging out at my apartment, talking on the phone to her boyfriend, and somehow or other she wound up inviting her boyfriend's sister over to my place, to give her a ride somewhere. That sister turned out to be Genevieve,” she explained.
“Now, I'd never really believed in ‘love at first sight,’ and maybe I'm just retroactively projecting my feelings back onto that encounter, but I swear I knew when she walked in the door that she was going to be in my life for a long time,” she wrote.

According to another interview Amy did with the New York Times, Genevieve works as a nanny. They adopted Meep together after only one month of dating.
I may have been overly ambitious in my plans for today. More Jeopardamy content is coming, but for now please enjoy Meep, standing guard in bed, and helping me with my social media pic.twitter.com/DSZEIxpOc0
