Former “Jeopardy!” champion Buzzy Cohen is a beloved fixture on the “Jeopardy!” scene.

He became a favorite to be the new permanent host after guest hosting the 2021 Tournament of Champions. Even though it remains to be seen whether he will be tapped to host the 2022 Tournament of Champions, fans still love to follow Buzzy Cohen on Twitter for his snappy, amusing tweets.

Cohen has been following along with “Jeopardy!” and, like many fans, praised the run of recent “Jeopardy!” champion Amy Schneider, who set a new 40-day win streak, which ranks second in the “Jeopardy!” Hall of Fame.

On her 41st game, Amy was up against Janice Hawthorne Timm and Rhone Talsma. Shortly before he appeared on “Jeopardy!”, Rhone took to Twitter to promote his episode.

“Hi! On Wednesday, January 26 you can watch me on @Jeopardy!” he tweeted. “After five years of taking the online test, I finally got to live out my dream. It technically already happened to me and it still doesn’t feel real!”

However, Buzzy Cohen took notice and couldn’t help but respond.

Buzzy Cohen Would Like To Defend His Title Against Rhome Talsma

During the episode, Rhone wore a brown long-sleeve shirt with a mock turtleneck and round, neon-yellow glasses. It was a bold fashion statement and one that Buzzy immediately took notice of.

“Any time someone wears an outstanding garment or accessory (like these glasses) I should be given 1:00 of air time to offer a rebuttal and defend my title as Jeopardy!’s Official Dandy,” he tweeted.

However, after the episode aired, Buzzy realized just how big his tweet had become.

“Legit did not know this guy was gonna win,” he tweeted. “Must have felt a disturbance in the Force. Congrats on the W and big congrats to @Jeopardamyfor a monumental run!”

Rhone Replies To Buzzy: ‘You’re The Blueprint’

Rhone was honored to even be mentioned by Buzzy, and quickly responded to him on Twitter.

“I've got nothing on you, Mr. Cohen!” he tweeted. “You're the blueprint! I guess I'm the yellowprint?”

“You do,” Buzzy replied. “You do.”

“If Ken was host throughout Amy’s run, and if Mayim was host for a good chunk of Matt’s run, then I think you should be hosting Rhone’s games, Buzzy,” one fan joked. “No really, you two would look great on TV, side-by-side.”

Rhone’s Second Outfit Generates Twitter Buzz

Lilly, who promotes “Jeopardy!” fashion on Twitter, posted about Rhone’s second outfit.

“I wondered all day if Rhone would be wearing the same glasses or if he had a whole collection of neon specs yet to be revealed,” Lilly tweeted. “And now I know - just yellow! Nice with the dark grey shade of his shirt.”

Rhone responded to the praise by responding with his own commentary about his shirt.

“This shirt is green but in the Jeopardy lighting and against blue it definitely looks gray,” he tweeted. “I don’t think this shirt is cursed anymore btw, I like how I look in it. Today’s look would’ve been a knit full turtleneck in black. Sad that it didn’t get to be used lol.”

Unfortunately, Rhone's win streak only lasted one day before he was replaced. Even though he won't make it to the Tournament of Champions, Rhone will forever go down in history as the champion who defeated Amy Schneider's impressive win streak!
